The first home run by Goldschmidt wasn't a strike.....but the last 2 were just horrible pitches......and he didn't missi them. Cards have a good team.....and our pen without Corey and JJ is really suspect.

Williams pitching in a tie game is not confidence inspiring
  3. markedman5
    Looked like Thames held up

Need more then one pitch. Tight zone......

CC sounded like Hader will be down tomorrow in the post game.

Is it me or does that Cardinal lineup not look all that imposing? Bottom.of the order looks pretty imposing........

Woodruff gave up a 2 run homer to Machado in the first......has been dominant since then.....2 hits and just the 2 runs through 4 2/3 ...7 Ks 1 walk.

Tom ‏ Verified account @Haudricourt 45s46 seconds ago More To be clear about Josh Tomlin, he opted out of his contract with #Brewers, as was his right. Will now entertain outside offers. With his experience level, wouldn't be shocking if got another job.

He is listed at 6'3 250......I'm sure that is in the ball park......

Wow Mark is really stepping up

They shouldn't be having any conversations about that until after next year at the very earliest. Realistically, I wouldn't look at it until after the 2021 season. Didn't say they should......just like he fact that Yelich loves it here and seems to be open to the idea.

Tom ‏ Verified account @Haudricourt 4m4 minutes ago More Yelich certainly sounds open to extension talk at any time: "I love it here. We'll see how it plays out."

I'm happy for Angels fans.........great that a player like Trout wanted to start and finish his career with the same organization.

I don't see Burnes in the pen.....they have made it very clear that they view him as a starter going forward.... I think he will be in the rotation.....either here or in triple A.

Not sure how they can not give Woodruff a spot if this keeps up TH tweet Brandon Woodruff doing all you can do to win spot in #Brewers rotation. His line today: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K. In three Cactus League outings, has nine scoreless innings, allowing three hits with 12 strikeouts. Apparently was hitting 95-97 on the gun too

Hiura just hit a 3 run bomb off of Bauer.....

So we can forget about Jimmy opening on the active roster.

Great to see the support from his teammates
  23. markedman5
Jimmy gave up 2 runs in his first inning back today vs the white sox. HR to first batter and a couple of singles. Per TH Jimmy Nelson's fastball was sitting mostly at 91-92 mph but he got it up as far as 94 mph. His breaking stuff was how he struck out three hitters. They weren't getting good swings off that.
  24. markedman5
    Peralta looked really good today
