  1. According to an article in the athletic everyone is available tonight except for Burnes( has pitched 4 of last 5 days). CC ruled him out according to Rosenthal.
  2. I see little to no chance of both Mouse and Schoop being here next season. At least 1 will be gone......maybe both. Arcia is the SS......don't think it's even debatable at this point. He has been more then solid with the bat since his recall.......and we know what he can do with the glove.
  3. CC said the decision would be made at game time.....doubt we will know it until he warms up or doesn't get used in a situation that we would obviously use him.
  4. The more I think about it the more it seems to me like they are going to go with Chacin in game 6 on short rest. That would allow them to pitch Woodruff for a couple innings today in relief of Miley and still be able to bring him back to pitch a few in game 7 if we are still alive in a All hands on deck elimination game.
  5. Not sure if Woodruff is pitching today regardless. I think they want to start him in game 6 or we would have seen him last night.
  6. I think its pretty clear the plan was to start Woodruff in Game 6 and Chacin in 7. I guess we will find out if that plan is changed after last nights result. Either Davies or Woodruff is going to be needed today. Hope Burnes might be able to give something as well. Knoebel? Hader? seem unlikely to be available. Peralta...Guerra... almost certainly out.
  7. Another big day for Hiura
  8. If they need Hader tonight you can bet he will be available. They didn't take him,out last night just to give the Dodgers a little hope. If the game calls for it all,of the high leverage guys will be good to go.....only possible exception is JJ and even he has the kind if rubber arm that could allow him to go if needed.
  9. Knoebel was also huge in this game. Guy threw every fastball exactly where he wanted it and after Machado went up there sitting on the first pitch curve ball he made the adjustment by going with the heater.
  10. Cedeno added Broxton removed
  11. Let's also remember that Attanasio made him the youngest GM in baseball when he hired him. He was the guy who gave him a chance at his dream job. That may not buy you a loyalty for a lifetime but it sure should be at least a factor. By all accounts he has a great relationship with Mark. if he is smart (which he obviously is) he understands how important relationships are when working directly for a billionaire major league owner. The one thing we can't give him is a big market budget or lifestyle if that is important to him.
  12. Nice start for him in AZ
  13. I didn't realize that speed was a strength for Hiura
  14. The @Brewers sweep the Rockies, allowing just two runs over the three games. They're the second NL team to allow under 1 run per game in a multi-game postseason series, joining the 1905 Giants (3 runs in 5 games). #OurCrewOurOctober
  15. Arcia and Broxton accounted for as many runs in the 9th inning as the Rockies scored The whole series......think about that one?
  16. It's both fun and torture watching important games knowing the season might soon be over. In the end I I'm happy we are one of 8 teams still standing......knowing full well we will likely be one of 7 that will lose its last game. It's been a great season......attending the last 2 games was amazing fun. Hopefully we can win one more and give the Dodgers a tough series in the NLCS.
  17. Sorry if this was already discussed but did anyone ask Black why he didn't walk MM and take his chances with Pina rightie vs rightie? I know it would have loaded the bases but still seemed the obvious move with Yelich already at 3rd.
