If we give up runs early tonight it's not like Chase hasn't been doing that on a regular basis anyway. If this was somebody else's turn they wouldn't have done it. No second guessing from me no matter what happens.

Guerra has great numbers in 3 starts vs the Cards this season and has looked very good since his move to the pen. Obviously that doesn't mean he will.pitch good tonight if he gets in the game but there is an argument to be made.

I think that is certainly a possibility. The goal is to keep.it tied or have the lead in the middle innings to use your studs. If that doesn't happen then CC can still go to plan B and save Hader, JJ, Corey and Burnes for tomorrow.

CC will finish in the top 2 in NL manager if the year voting. He has done a great job. Every decision isn't going to work and there is no way to please everyone. We are lucky to have him

For the poster who said the Brewers weren't playing like a division winner down the stretch Brewers have won 9 of last 10 series They arent going to win the division..... it they have played very well. Cubs just were a little better.

All of the relievers will be available today if needed with possible exception of Hader. Considering how important every win is now.....and that they were all well rested....the use of the pen was very appropriate. JJ want in the 9th because he hadn't worked in a week.......sometimes it works out that way.
