  1. I think he made the mistake of assuming it was going to be a force out at 2nd....then when it was bobbled it was too late.
  2. #Brewers Jesus Aguilar is slugging .708 over his last 31 games played. He has 14 home runs and 37 RBI during that span. I,mean that is smoking
  3. I know it's the Royals but you have to like what Peralta has shown so far. Using all of his pitches tonight.....love it.
  4. Peralta is a fly ball pitcher right? Wonder if that had anything to do with CC playing Miller at short tonight?
  5. Brewers doing him a favor Tom H I asked #Brewers GM David Stearns about releasing Kyle Wren: "At this point, it was worth giving Kyle a chance to go to another organization and continue his career. He's done a great job for us and been a good teammate. We certainly wish him well."
  6. By not DLing him now you give yourself the option of getting him back,in a few days......if he can't go you back date the DL move. This seems like the prudent move.....best case you get him back first game of Cincy series.....and he misses 2 games.....only down side is playing a man short the next 2 days.
  7. Phillips is every bit as good a center fielder........that isn't the reason.
  8. I took that to mean no blockbuster that will cost us our top 3 prospects. Will trade from position of depth.
  9. TH tweet #Brewers 3B Travis Shaw told me he won't play today or tomorrow but the hope is to play Thursday. If can't go that day, time for a different plan.
  10. https://twitter.com/paulimig/status/1011676910143844352?s=21 Attended a luncheon w/ Brewers GM David Stearns. Few takeaways: * “Not my style to mortgage the future.” * Role of starting pitching is evolving, though it varies team-to-team. Points out it’s clearly different for Astros given their staff. * Really high on AA pitcher Zack Brown
  11. Nottingham with a home run. Would love to see him get an opportunity in Sept if not sooner.
  12. Gatewood 4-5 Hiura with a homer......hitting 358 at Biloxi
  13. Please make MM pay for taking out a guy who was dominating us.
  14. The Reds are on fire......leading Cubs 8-1. Going to be a tough 4 gamer coming up
  15. Going to a short start for Chase. Just can't find his command this season.
  16. For those wondering it doesn't sound like Miller is going to,take over as the every day SS Tom tweet Counsell on Miller's role with team: "What we may ask him is to move around the field more regularly, on a daily basis. Whether it be in double switches or starting role. He is versatile; he's a very good athlete. He has done this before." CC said Miller would play some SS.
  17. Braun isn't playing because Thames and Jesus are. Tough right handed pitcher going for Cards. No need to DL him......CC just riding the hot hand. It is amazing that people still think CC and Stearns don't know what they are doing. Relax TH tweet CC on Braun sitting out again today: "Ryan is doing fine; he’s doing great. But if we can give him more time, great. We have guys playing well. I think it works out for both of us in that perspective. He’ll definitely play tomorrow."
  18. This is a good move. Multi position players are useful......Braun and Thames can cover the outfield. Santana needs to play every day.
