TH tweet Counsell said Albers reported soreness in shoulder after game last night and had been bothering him a bit. Thought could pitch through it. Instead will be examined to see what's going on.

After being brilliant in April and May, Albers had allowed nine hits and eight runs in 3 2/3 innings in June (19.64 ERA). Now, he goes on 10-day DL with shoulder issue. TH tweet

The Brewers have scored 11 runs in 9 games vs the Cubs.Saw that today and thought it must be a mistake. We can talk about lots of other things but you just aren't going to win games if your offense can't score. Bullpen isn't going to be perfect......Guys will fail to,make plays once in awhile....bottom line....our defense leads the majors in runs saved.....bullpen has been great......guys just have to start hitting against this team or nothing is going to change.

Corey could pitch possibly......probably not until weds but maybe tomorrow......Hader is getting 2 days off.......CC has been consistent on how he uses him after 30-40 pitches.

Why wouldn't you pitch to him? Sure looked like an unintentional intentional walk to me. It wasn't......no way they wanted to move the lead run to 2nd.....and pitch around a lefty vs Hader to boot. He just didn't have it tonight
