More than happy to watch the Phillies and Dodgers duke it out.

It appears runs are ….as usual …..hard to come by in the playoffs

It’s what people do……especially with trade acquisitions……to a certain extent it’s understandable because all anyone cares about is what a guy does after you get him. Glad that he finished strong

Theoretically……but Bill James pretty much debunked the protection myth I believe. logically it makes sense but it hasn’t really played out that way. my guess is people aren’t afraid to attack Joey no matter who is batting first. Getting Yelich another at bat certainly is a plus but the difference between him, Turang and Sal is pretty slight …….our record with Sal leading off was pretty damn good. Not a big deal but I kind of like sticking with what was successful as opposed to changing it late in the year.

My memory isn’t what it used to be but I’m pretty sure he got the day off after he got hit. He told Murphy he wanted to play but I think they sat him the next day.

Huh? Cubs won it 7-6.

Padres beat us in the season series too…….🤷♂️

I really don’t like these announcers on the Cubs Padres game……..

Worst calls of the season…….none involving Brewers interestingly enough.

Another great article from today One of my all time favorite Brewers…..no matter what happens in the playoffs https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2025/09/30/christian-yelich-wants-badly-to-bring-a-world-series-to-milwaukee/86406046007/ -
Murphy told Hogg they aren’t going with 11 pitchers "I think that's it," he said of the 14-12 alignment. "With our pitching injuries right now, you'd be hard-pressed to go 11. You get an extra-innings game and you don't have enough length, you're on thin ice.

I don’t see Gasser being on the roster…….Myers or Z

I saw an interview where he said he was opting out. Seems to prefer to,stay with the Mets but he isn’t going to miss out on this opportunity coming off a big season.

Meanwhile the David Stearns era isn’t off to a great start according to Mets fans……

Bill getting another day off before playing everyday from here until the season is over……probably a good move
-
The only thing this means is that he won’t pitch today……..which he wasn’t going to do anyways…….their is no downside to this……assuming they want him on the playoff roster…….which we will find out later.
