  1. And That
Unbelievable, did anybody believe you'd read that this year? To be honest, we did pump up this team well ahead of the curve based on their starting rotation, but this has indeed been fun. Indeed, and pardon my french, but this has been a hell of a run for this H'ville team. I'm proud of the guys that have been there all year for not giving up and proud of the newer faces for pushing them in the second half. I hope they are able to keep on this streak for just another few weeks games, so they get themselves in the playoffs. Would be nice to get the AAA/AA teams both in postseason play.
  2. And That
Zumwalt has only been pitching for a few years, so it isn't hard to see him as a late-bloomer. And I'll pay myself on the back for the Bray call. It's a good sign that Parra is included - if they aren't trying to severely limit his innings, it might be a sign that he's actually getting pretty healthy.
  3. And That
Jesse Harper making his first appearance of the year for the organizaition with the Baby Brewers tonight.
  4. And That
I've watched the Tigers play against the Twins on multiple occasions and they just seem to have the extra bit on the field the Brewers don't. Prime example: The Twins were down by one, runners on 1st and 3rd with one out. Zumaya was pitching to Kubel, I believe. Zumaya goes down 2-0 against Jason, but then makes a very good pitch... the ball is hit right to Guillen at short, and he initiates a Taylor-made double play. This is the stuff that happens to good teams. With the Brewers... Damian Miller grounds into double plays.
  5. And That
    This team sucks.
  6. And That
    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  7. And That
Damien Miller being up with the bases loaded gives me a headache.

BTW, a PSA from Brewerfan... If you find you are posting a lot (especially in the IGT), please pay like a few bucks and become an EZ-Supporter. Just go to the main board here and click on "Control Center" and follow the directions. You spending like $10 could save the site a lot, lot more.
  9. And That
Jenks is 3T0 all the sudden.
  10. And That
    PINCH HIT CIRILLO!
  11. And That
    This team is deeply flawed.
  12. And That
This is a dead serious question: if he is just good next year and not great how many people on this site will be disappointed? Zero, because at this point I'm all but convinced Gallardo is as close to the next Sheets as were are getting out of the system. Yo will have no problem next year.
  13. And That
Steve Garrison with a good outing tonight. Yovanni Gallardo also working on a good outing...
  14. And That
This team would lose to a rookie making his second career start when they could gain a game on the wild card and 4 other teams.
  15. And That
If you just now blew a fuse, you have a lot more trust and patience in this team than most of us. I think I just realized how badly managed and coached this team is.
  16. And That
Of course Miller looks like a rag and makes us lead-off with Sheets next inning. I think I've finally blown a fuse on this season.
  17. And That
Thank you, David Bell. (Never thought I'd say that two days in a row.)
  18. And That
The fourth inning so far is a microchosm of why we're 57-63.
  19. And That
GET GROSS TO THIRD!!! PLAY GOOD BASEBALL!!! gah...
  20. And That
You must've posted that after it happened... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Well, I did post it after the count was 2-0. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  21. And That
Why doesn't Hall bunt a little more? He's fast.
  22. And That
    Gross will walk here.
  23. And That
Huff got about all of that one.
  24. And That
I would trust Yo Gallardo with my life.
  25. And That
I can't remember the last time I saw a Ben Sheets-pitched game where a hit and two walks came before the first K.
