Bottom of the order to start the 3rd inning on offense. Been decent during the regular season.

That was efficient by Henderson. Needed that inning.

Two quick outs to finish the 2nd Inning. Bit of a gift.

Starters just can’t finish off innings against these guys. More burning through pitches early again.

Hamilton coming in for one of Pratt or Ortiz was almost expected. Fewer moving parts by going Hamilton for Ortiz at 3B. Keep Pratt at SS; don't have shift Ortiz to think about both SS defense and what he's doing at the plate. Can always bring Ortiz in to sub for Hamilton later in the game.

Yes. That was mentioned. Seems to be a black hole in the lineup during the playoffs. Good bit of 2025 regular season and some of 2026 also. But particularly in the postseason.

More defensive mistakes. Unusual to see these little things pile up for the Brewers. But Contreras still has the cannon to cut down baserunners.

More likely to score some runs versus the Padres middle relievers than the late-inning relievers. Could use one of those trademark 4-run small ball innings.

Wonder if MLB would ever make a rule about painting the knob of the bat a high-vis color and/or prohibiting holding the bat below the knob. Could make those foul ball versus hit by pitch calls a lot easier.
