    i think the past couple have been more a function of when/how they happened...late game changers. they both definitely gave the ball a good look though. i kind of expected hall to get one in the rear wednesday night.

    the homestand in early september will be interesting to see with school starting again. if they can draw good numbers there, 3 million is very possible.

    west is the crew chief. it was good to see him step in and do that. rapuano also was not backing down...almost egging ned on well after he was tossed. there was no need for him to follow yost back to the dugout.

    besides the horrible call on the check swing, i thought the balls and strikes were pretty good last night again. the entire series was called pretty good behind the plate so far.

    bo jackson is a clear #1 i was a fan of wario in kart 64. any curveball pitcher in the original RBI baseball. bret saberhagen comes to mind. the curve would hit the outside corner but it was impossible to hit for the first 3-4 innings.

    another one. people who think they have to enter a busy freeway at the earliest moment. they make the entrance/merge lane long for a reason. use the lane, keep your speed, and find an opening. dont try to merge in 20 feet past the meter light and back up traffic on the ramp. a couple places in partiular for me: 84th street west on to 94 and watertown plank rd going south on 45.

    so true...especially considering the car making the right turn has the right of way in that example. i see so many people make left turns across 2+ lanes of traffic all the time. extremely annoying. also, the person on the freeway that either does not have cruise control or is talking on their phone and feels the need to pass you, then slow down, then pass you again, then slow down. pick a speed!!!

    have to agree with this one. stetter can be brought back up in september. it is possible that mota would be long gone if he was DFA'd (though some may like to see that)

    i find it interesting that they are advertising on the radio...considering all they have available are road tickets and the cal-poly game. after going to the late-season mauling of buffalo a couple years back, i will take a pass on cal-poly in november.

    interesting...since the plate ump is considered one of the worst in the league according to the players (cb bucknor) the radio broadcast must not have had the update, since they did not announce him...but the box has him
