    If we would have made deeper playoff runs, maybe a couple more times in the last 5 years….. just beat the Nationals in 2019 and beat the Diamondbacks last year, we don’t have the narrative of regular season champ, postseason chump. And we are blowing these games largely at home as the favored team…home field against 11 Cards, 18 Dodgers, 21 Braves, 23 Diamondbacks, and 24 Mets. More sadness….we have less postseason series wins as a franchise (3- 82 Angels, 11 Diamondbacks, 18 Rockies) in 55 years than the 23 Rangers alone (4). I prefer, however, to include the 57 Braves as a MLB championship of the city and state. I don’t know why this isn’t championed more here. Milwaukee does have a World Series over the Yankees. If not championed, at least mentioned.

    I thought Bauer was an asset on defense….yet Hoskins played 1B and Bauer is DH?

    Chourio missing the catch coupled by Payamps not running off the mound to cover 1B….that was 5 runs.

    Nobody hustled like him…gritty. Gutsy. Managed and played, ok. Same time. More wins than DiMaggio played. Heard him speak on how he doesn’t remember popping out to the 3B in foul territory, for whatever that means. A rare bird. Just a truly remarkable player. Definition of a gamer.

    Where are you seeing the general times? Last year, the WC times were 2, 3:30, 6, and 7…..no noon games.

    Still ok with winning division, regardless of what happens after…yep. It should be celebrated. It is separate from postseason. However, ok is a fairly blah word. I would not be pumped or excited to just win division and then lose 2 straight after winning 90 plus over 6 months. Ok still….still solid, fun, and surprising season that kept Cubs and Cards out…there is joy in that….but it would be a disappointing end. Big markets would be tougher to be ok with just divisions, I think. The odds are so stacked against small markets….it is more of an accomplishment for us.

    I thought a.500 season would be admirable....but then all the hectic happens. And the injuries to major players, including Yelich! Yeah,, pretty special....giving Murphy and staff a lot of credit. But even more, I give guys that didn't hit the IR even more...guys like Adames, Rea, Contreras...wow.

    Bullpen has been great….throwing Koenig another inning with lefties up sounds good….even now. It stinks it turned out this way, but we have had numerous arms close games this year. This is not abnormal. The abnormal parts are Williams actually throwing in the bullpen with a one run lead with two on and no one out in the 10th….and not pulling a pitcher whose wheels have come off for somebody else.

    Awful. Questionable calls in this game for sure, but I think he has earned leeway this year and next. Manager of the year.

    Should be another minute plus off of the clock on that past drive....Willus hiking it with 10-12 sec. On play clock....inexcuseably...
