Winning a series, probably. The franchise has won only 3 series, remember. 10 playoffs, 3 series wins, and 22-32 in playoff games. Winning a series and finishing farther than the Cubs would probably be enough. Happy but disappointed.

Please Tell your dad that 70 + year olds Steve and Betty, their eldest son/wife….and their young daughters say hi….often loved sitting in that back row of 217, in Bill’s section. We likely will be around the ballpark that last weekend September. If he can get to games/playoff games, please let us know so we can say hey…..and a huge thanks for being a great usher for so long for us.

Yes. You wait a week until Woody finally loses a game….and after Miz has a blowup against Reds. Then you go to work. I think the playoff starters are still a fluid situation. Peralta has been the best, most consistent starter all season, The other 3 have been so good for us minus a blip here or there. And Quintana could get a playoff start too, especially if we get into a seven game series. -
I don't think Turang or Frelick are Arby's eligible.

Agreed. I think Murphy pitches him Game 1 too if Game 1 is next week. -
I would be the first last week to laugh at this. Peralta has trouble breaking the 5th inning, struggles with command, and can look lost at times. But still oh still what a season overall! Dependable. Makes big pitches to get out of trouble. Big on Ks (9th in NL), Sub 3 ERA (7th in NL), 5th WHIP, 1st Wins. Is it possible that he is arguably our third or fourth best starting pitcher this season and WINS the CY Young? I will say a shaky yes. But he has to finish the season extra well. With presumably 8 starts left, it could happen. If Brewers win division and get bye..,.. if Peralta wins 6 of 8 starts….and if his ERA drops to mid 2s, I think he can do it. A 20 win pitcher with a mid 2 ERA on a giant slaying small market team could make a pretty good case, especially if the front runners Skenes, Wheeler, Boyd, etc. fade a bit. That would be pretty wild considering one could make the argument the first 3 starts of a playoff series belong to Woodruff, Miz, and Priester.

As we sit here on August 12 at 74-44 (40-20 at home), the Brewers winning percentage is an amazin’ 62.7% (66.6% at home). In the last 25 seasons of attending games of our Brewers (home/away/playoffs), this has been my best W/L season thus far. I started the season 7-0 and currently sit at 8-1 (88.8 %…all at home). Also surprisingly, I did not attend a July game when we were +10 games over .500 and just went to one in August (10-0). I am curious how others are doing record-wise at games this season? What is “your” winning percentage at Brewers attended games this season?

Still suspicious of other motives...can't help it. Hoskins normally would be back, but Vaughn is raking. Bauers maybe the same. Extend that IL stint....not sure where your ABs will be coming anyways. Good depth. Miz isn't really hurt but he needs to watch his innings anyways. Here's some attaboy mlb pay for 10 days. Just play nice. Woodruff pitched for 3 months in the minors since our staff was lights out here. That liner back was a great reason to extend longer. Henderson is injured? Ok. What is the angle? Not fair take, maybe not....but it is justifiable questioning given the history, and rightly so.
