  1. I haven’t seen Usher Bill in his usual sections of 216-218….is he still around the stadium?
  2. Overall lack of talent? Huh? We are loaded. We are hurt, mainly with SP. And they all should be back this season. Whachoo talkin bout Willis?
  3. Why isn’t Quintana ready to pitch? Was he hurt too? Crazy.
  4. Oops….just looked at one source. Apologies.
  5. We gave up appx 1.2 HRs a game last season….think we are north of 4 so far. get out of NY quickly.
  6. I am not seeing a salary cap….how long of a strike do you want to see? I would start with harsher luxury taxes, a universal draft, and more easy perks for smaller markets (45 man roster, more draft picks in between rounds 2 and 3, higher share of national broadcasting). And Attanasio is 5 years younger than Manfred. 61 to 66. It is possible.
  7. Totally agree…senseless. It would be so easy and would take care of most collisions there.
  8. Perfect sense? Wouldn’t Friday make more sense?
  9. Thursday night in September……odd all the way around with this promotion of Shaq. And thanks for the good news…….might stay home now. And those Thursday night games in September sure are popular nights to get out for Brewers games and concert….cant remember any ever. Not traditional or a proven $ maker…Sounds like an experiment if there ever was one.
  10. Huh? Any genre, who cares…… How are we doing a college concert on a weeknight in September….chilly, dank Milwaukee….wind blowing off lake….Thursday night at 10? What herds are coming to that? Put it on a Friday at least….a summer night, fellas. We want people to come to this, correct?
  11. Concession credit of $15 on inflated tickets (Loge Bleachers $34 on a Thursday night) seems like a crazy promotion BEFORE Shaq heads to 2B to sing and dance in Milwaukee on a Thursday night at 10.
  12. A Thursday night…in September….Shaq postgame concert…..Brewers home game… it’s 2025. unthinkable
  13. Jerked him around last year position wise….still have no idea how he is going to be used. Owner doesn’t either……..MA thinks he was going to get a shot at 3B when they all but gave up playing him at 3B (or even 2B) last year in the minors. I am surprised he is still with the team…and yes, I think it is obvious that skip is not high on Black.
  14. No surprise….and to that affect do we expect our SP to be Peralta, Cortez, Myers, Civale, and Ashby when the season begins? Ha…I expect at least two of those to be hurt. That is how it was all last year, for whatever reason. And Woodruff not having a setback would be surprising. Plus Yelich.
  15. Why we handed him 17.5 million is still crazy to me…”shoulder surgery” and a year off meant little to the team. Big gamble
  16. A typical May or September Tuesday game with some sort of reduced pricing in the LoGe/Field OF….people packed in there. Looks ridiculous with so many better seats empty…
  17. If it’s about the bottom line, bringing in the most money, the Brewers are losing money with me. If I cannot get Loge Diamond Box/Platinumm seats at a discount for any game, I will be buying lesser seats at a much lower price. And I will be going less, as well. Just look around at games at how many empties there are in expensive areas. It is quite remarkable…and I agree with your take…much different in the post Covid times.
  18. That was normal from 1970-2016ish.
  19. Prices will usually trend up. Yet the prices have gone up much more over the last two or three years, in my experience. Even the “deals” of WI First Fridays and Srs/Kids days have been jacked up so much it isn’t much of a deal at the half price for decent seats. The Loge Diamond Box and Platinum levels have now been excluded from discount promotions, as well. The LDB Family Section, which is alcohol free, has tickets on average of well over $50. I don’t see many families there for obvious reasons, but go ahead and call it that. And those wonderful cheap tickets others mention are often Terrace level where I really have no desire to go. I think it is fair to complain a bit when price is keeping people home more now than before AND when so many empties are seen in quality seating sections. Like mentioned at the top, I do like a few of the deals but they aren’t nearly what they used to be from say 2007-2018.
  20. Years back the price for the home opener was the same as the price for every other game……including the 2nd home game of the year, a Tuesday night in April. That cannot be overstated why the popularity of the game has drastically gone down with empties everywhere. It used to be a value buy, not anymore…just the opposite. It’s less and less of a value yearly as prices go up in and out of the stadium.
  21. I miss the Arctic Tailgate….always a fun idea to get you thinking about baseball again. Stinking cold usually, but they would give you brats, tshirts, coffee….a few Brewers alumni or tv crews would be on hand. And no On Deck either. I think it is more than fair to say that Brewers PR has taken a sad downturn or nosedive in the last few off-seasons. We fans have all kinds of team energy with no where to put it! For like five months! Dropping the ball, Brewers. It seems like such a missed opportunity for the team to sell tickets and squeeze a buck out of the fan too. Only memories of past winter Brewers activities….are there now with very little on the horizon apparently. Yet the Cubs make it work with a three day convention. Throw up.
  22. Looks like ticket and parking prices went up a bit here, a bit there. Typical and expected. The bigger thing that affects my ticket buying is that Loge Diamond Box has been excluded from discounts on Wisconsin Fridays and Kids/Srs days. This is in addition to the newly named Platinum seats getting excluded last year. A good Monday deal continues of $6 Terrace seats and $12 Loge Bleachers. I expect the nice Kwik Trip ticket deal to start up again in March. Parking up a little too…..advanced parking up a buck to $19 (Day of game $27) for M-F, $21/$42 for weekends. General is $14 Advanced(Day of game $17) for M-F, and $16/$22 for weekends.
