  1. Great work Todd and thanks to Brooks for sharing. The part of the interview that I caught right away was this line. I immediately remembered Tom Wopat's avatar. http://images.yuku.com/image/gif/28125e24a996fd09bd97cbb213046a7133a6175.gif
  2. Wouldn't it be great to see the broadcasters untuckem after the game as well? Come back from commercial and there's BA and Schroeder doing the recap with their shirt talis out. Let Rick Horton really lose it.
  3. Player photos. I know that it has been noted that the site is not going to "borrow" photos from newspapers or affiliate sites, but with a working relationship with the team, would they be willing to distribute their photos to the site?
  4. Nashville rained out today. No make up date yet. http://www.nashvillesounds.com/news/news.asp?newsId=2959
  5. Didn't see it mentioned but Wes Littleton is showing on the Helena roster per Baseball America
  6. An Omar Aguilar sighting today. 1 scoreless with 2 strike outs. Nice to see him back in there!
  7. Wow. I know I was the only one that put Rigoberto Almonte in Colby's off season prospect poll, but I did not expect him to make the jump from Arizona Rookie ball to A+.
  8. Pedro, I'd appreciate a chance for the 2008 DVD. Thanks as always.
  9. Sean McCraw was the Brewer's 37th round draft pick in 2004. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/team/draft.jsp?c_id=mil&year=2004
  10. Awesome! A Rigoberto Almonte sighting. Still throwing strikes.
  11. I think the big thing was where was Lou going to play. Salome is going to be the #1 in Nasville, Lucroy could very well be the # 1 in Huntsville. Lou would be relegated to back up duty. I think at this point in his career, Lou still sees himself as a # 1 guy. Would it be fair to Lou to take him back then put him in Brevard County? The depth would be nice, but I think it is a class move by Melvin to let him stay in Houston.
  12. And the hits keep on coming. http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/story/?id=271588
  13. I think that as long as Iribarren has one more option year left, he should be OK when/if Duffy is added because it sounded like it was between Duffy, Nixon, and Gwynn, Jr. for the back up outfield spot. Now should Gwynn, Jr. open on the DL, then Iribarren could have his 40 man spot in jeopardy. Personally, I'm a big fan of Iribarren so I probably have a little bias toward him, but he is only 24 and has some versatility between the outfield and 2nd base.
  14. I didn't see a thread specifically for this. If there is one, Mods please lock. Martin Maldonado and Jason Bourgeois were reassigned to the minor league camp. Both were in camp on spring training invites. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/transactions/index.jsp?c_id=mil&year=2009&month=2
  15. Welcome aboard Coach Winton. Great insight on Omar. Thanks for taking the time and sharing. I hope we have a lot to talk about this season with him.
  16. DUI is the term for driving under the influence which includes being high. I'm not sure about the difference between the other 2. It might have to do with whether or not the person was observed driving or if they were found in a ditch behind the wheel.
  17. Personally, I don't care if any of those channels come back. I'm just going to make sure my bill is adjusted down for the time they are not being carried. I'm still ticked TW gave in and started carrying the big ten channel.
  18. I don't know if this is the resource you remember, but the Baseball Cube has a list of the draft picks by year. http://www.thebaseballcub...draft/teams/2008_16.shtml Just select the year you want.
  19. I agree 100%. I bought my wife's engagement ring there 8 years ago. About 3 years ago one of the small diamond chips was lost. We took the ring back and a new one was put in no questions asked. Great selection of diamonds in all sizes and price ranges.
  20. Put me down for John Bale. Lefty that made Brian Shouse money last season. When used as a reliever he was good, as a starter, not good at all. Also younger than Shouse.
  21. If I remember right, when the Brewers were playing the Diamondbacks, Capuano was in the stands and interviewed. He sounded very open to the idea of working his way back to the team including time in the minors, so I don't think this was a big surprise to him and if the team offers, I'm pretty sure based on those comments, he would take the minor league deal.
  22. Or Thorman will provide competition for that 24th roster spot. Good, low risk signing.
  23. Rickey Henderson, Bert Blyleven, Tim Raines, and Alan Trammell.
  24. Date is 12/11/08. The order will be the same as the upcoming draft order for 2009. As far as players available, I've only see a couple of teams lists through other fan sites/blogs and have not really had time to look too deep into them. Anyone have a list available?
