Fortunately, Guillen and Milton Bradley have never been on the same team at the same time. They both did stints in Oakland, but seperately.

Different sport but remember the Green Bay Packers of the '90's where they would take over Tampa's stadium and everyone thought that was the best. Even now the Packers fans just travel well. It is just frustrating to see Milwaukee fans allowing their stadium to be taken over.

Outside of Sabathia and Sheets the 2 names that jump out at me are Orlando Hudson and Rocco Baldelli. I'm real curious to see if Baldelli can make it back. He is playing well lately in Montgomery (Tampa AA). Hudson could solidify the 2nd base position.

How bad is it when you describe your situation as "Living in hell in Kansas City". Jose Guiller feels KC let him down by not building a better team for him, but he was also on that 2005 LA Angels team that won the west, but he was not a part of it because he was suspended by manager Mike Scioscia in September after a confrontation. He was quoted afterwards saying "It hurts me so much," Guillen says. "You know why? Because people have no idea what happened last year. They don't know the real truth. When I go home (to the Dominican Republic), sometimes I cry a lot because people on the street, they think I'm an ass. Like, they think I'm the worst guy in baseball. And they don't know the truth." Now he supposedly has problems with Trey Hillman. He signed a 3 year $36 million contract with Kansas City in the off season and says he is willing to eat some of it to help get him out of there. I just do not see how anyone would be willing to take this guy on anymore. This is just the latest in a series of issues he has had in baseball. I am in now way advocating, suggesting, or implying the Brewers should be looking at Guillen. http://www.myfoxkc.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=7090040&version=2&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1

I tried google searching but couldn't find anything. Maybe I was using the wrong search criteria. I wonder if there are stats out there that show how many errors are recorded at each stadium. Perhaps showing which stadium scorers are more or less likely to give an error on a play. I'm sure it would be real subjective because certain pitchers at home will get scoring calls made that charge an error to a fielder when other pitchers wouldn't get that to save ERA and the same would be true for a batter to allow for a base hit rather than an error.

Any word on Billings? Sounded like he would be following Lintz quickly to Arizona.

West Virginia Power win in the 11th!! Odd finish to the game. West Virginia Bottom 11th Lee Haydel singles on a line drive to left fielder David Berres. Matt Cline hits a sacrifice bunt. Throwing error by pitcher Thomas Palica. Lee Haydel scores. Matt Cline to 1st.

BC Manatees rained out tonight. No word, but assume it will be made up tomorrow.

Arthur Rhodes from Seattle for Steffan Wilson.

One thing that jumped out at me was the 256 stolen bases for the 1992 team which ranked 1st in the American League. What a lost art this is. The leader for this season is the Tampa Bay Rays with 103 in 97 games, projected out to be 172 for the season.

Salome does have to serve his suspension. He may be doing that starting tonight.

Anyone else getting music with the Helena broadcast tonight? It's like someone forgot to turn off a switch somewhere and the music is playing at the same time as Steve Wendt doing the play by play call.

Alex Periard with another strong outing going all 7 in the 1st game of the doubleheader tonight. Allowed a 2 run homer in the 2nd and that was it. BC Manatees win 3-2 defeating Brett Myers. 2 out walk off single by Jimmy Mojica in the bottom of the 7th. Tayor Green with 2 hits including a double.

2 hour 15 minute of the game. Michael Brantley charged the mound after a couple of inside pitches. The catcher, Tatum knocked him down from behind. All heck breaks loose. Sounds like it was brewing for a while and not just a usual baseball fight. Sounded like Brantley got punched in the face. Kind of fun listening to the Stars broadcaster describe the goings on. Really describing the Chattanooga manager Goff as a real aggressor.

What a performance by Joe Bateman tonight. 3 1/3 innings of relief. One hit allowed, 7 strikeouts. Makes you wonder why he never got a shot at AAA before this year.

Resign Ben Sheets! Prince Fielder to Detroit for Rick Porcello. (Although I do like The Crew 07's proposal of Fielder for Shields) Porcello and Jeffress would both be on the same track to arrive in Milwaukee. Consider the rotation with Sheets, Gallardo, Parra, Jeffress, and Porcello. 1st Base for 2009 would be Brad Nelson and if need be, Rottino/Dillon. Mat Gamel learns 1st Base in Nashville.

I see Joey Paciorek finally got into a game today. I know there is very little information that makes it out of the Arizona League, but did anyone hear why he was not playing?

Chris Cody has been solid all season. Alex Periard has really turned it up lately after a slow start. Evan Anundsen with that ground ball ratio has to be considered as well. I would go with Luis Pena though. After getting roughed up early he has worked that ERA back down into the mid to low 3's and is in position to replace Mota.

Pena,Ryan,Brantley,Cain,Ford,Green,Chapman,Brewer,Dennis,Robulak,Tyson,Bueno just a few :P A few more and you'll be able to field your own team. Keep up the good work and as always, thanks for keeping us up to date with the info!

Cutter Dykstra pinch hit for to lead off the game. Groin acting up again. Also, Wily Peralta starting tonight.
