    Just got back from spending time in Iowa and Nebraska. I was shocked to see how many gravel roads they have in major population areas. Very new expensive homes with gravel roads! Is this more common than I think?

    Ibond deadline is quickly approaching if you want the 9+%. I just got mine today.

    The law is you can ask what the service dog is trained to do. If they say it is a service dog, you have to let them in. However, if the dog bites someone, for example, and it is deemed that the dog is not a service animal, the owner and not the business is liable. The real kicker is people claiming emotional support animals are service animals and they are not protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you ever question these people, they go psycho.

    Dog owners that claim their dogs are service animals when they obviously are not. The legal system needs to fix this.

    My brokerage is 3% which I assumed is okay but was hoping for better obviously. Still better than the .50% that used to be common.

    What are you guys finding for good savings interest rates right now? I am sitting on a sizeable house down payment and want to be doing better than what I am doing right now.

    Opportunity Cost is the Risk. Not sure how your realtor explaining that they weren't seriously interested in selling is going to help sell that house that's been on the market for 6 months because they have to sell now. I hear that and I think I am going to use every piece of leverage to get this house for as low as possible.

    Uh no, there is risk because there are only so many buyers in this area with the kind of money that would buy your very expensive house. You say no after having it on the market for over 6 months to an offer that is at ask or over ask, you won't get that buyer again. That buyer will move on or just build their own house and say go pound sand. There is absolutely risk and saying otherwise is not understanding the basics of buying and selling. Yes I said you would need another place lined up because you need somewhere to live if you sell your only house. I mean you could live in a hotel for a while but that would be pretty dumb.

    Using that logic, everyone should just have their house listed all of the time. Why not right?

    Special needs kids are awesome. The majority of special needs parents are not.

    Unless you own another place or have one lined up "make me move" in this market is pretty risky.

    I thought I might need a charge in Sheboygan so I went out of my way to go to a KT. What a huge waste of time and embarrassing for KT to even have it. Thanks for reminding me how angry I was when I saw this.

    Yes, the housing market is local. We are looking to do a major upgrade to our housing situation and there isn't much out there. One house that we like a lot is clearly significantly overpriced and has been on the market almost 6 months. If your house isn't selling in a month or so, you are overpriced. Same for an investment property I put an offer in on and didn't even get a counter. Now it is sitting on the market.

    The Brewers kept Cain on the roster long enough to get 10 years of service time. Sounds like they did him a solid there and he should remember that.

    I don't have any issues with the guys/personalities on the team but the brand of baseball this team plays is the worst I can remember. I used to try and catch every game and now it's every so often. Yes I want to win but let's make it more entertaining at the very least.

    The rankings are all over the place for the Crew which just goes to show there are quite a few interesting players in the system. I see a lot of potential major leaguers which we will need to stay competitive.
