    you obviously don't live in or near MN. I'm enjoying it. Went to school years ago right near the WI/MN border and we enjoyed talking noise if our team won. I'm just saying it would be rough if we didn't have Rodgers in a game we needed to win.

    It's funny I was going to bring this thread back to the top. I am wondering what ETFs you guys would recommend for income? I have some real estate that produces income but nothing out there right now seems like a good deal.

    I predict Stearns will get Voit in a 3 way trade with the Yankees and A's. Brewers get: Voit Yankees get: Olson A's get: prospects from NY and Milwaukee The meltdown on here would be interesting but I'd be okay with it.

    Are we underrating Ethan Small here? If you just look at the numbers, he is dominating the minors.

    Olson seems like the only "realistic" and good player on that list that we could get. Cron hit .734 away from Coors field. He might be ok if we just want someone to mash lefties but I doubt DS sees that as a huge need. Cron seems like a guy you can trade for easily at the deadline if you need to.

    Renfroe seems like one of those guys that are fine for a starter on a decent team but a guy that you always look to upgrade on.

    Which area are you talking about? Not a food truck, but if downtown Appleton, you have to try Sal's by the slice. (located right across the street from the PAC) They also give you a delicious garlic roll with the slice. My favorite pizza in Appleton by far. Fox Valley/Madison/Milwaukee

    Renfroe did have some stand-alone value so why would they non-tender him? Just because they tendered him a contract doesn't mean they really wanted the guy. They could have almost certainly have traded Renfroe to somebody else for a lesser prospect. To me it's very clear what this trade was all about. From the Brewers perspective, 1) rid themselves of Bradley 2) rid themselves of JBJ, and 3) add Renfroe. From the Red Sox point of view it was all about adding two prospects they liked. My post was in response to another poster calling him garbage because they traded him. How do you know the view point of the Red Sox? Maybe they considered letting JBJ go as a mistake and wanted him back.

    I was in Orlando recently for a convention and got talking to a local guy. He said he visited Milwaukee to watch the Bucks/Magic play and did some sightseeing and loved it. He said he will be visiting again this summer, even though Bucks are not in town when he goes. Now that is definitely anecdotal but it is clear there are benefits to having professional sports.

    I can't ever eat Romas (sober at least) anymore after eating it in college. The crappiest pizza out there imo.

    If Boston didn't want Renfroe, they could have non tendered him.

    Which city is talked about more nationally, Milwaukee or Albuquerque? Both are pretty close in terms of population. Sports raises a cities profile and can be beneficial.
