    If all it took was money, then the Cubs, Red Sox, Giants and Angels would have made the playoffs this last season. Yes, it is easier with money but money didn't make all those other teams pass on Lux did it? I'd like to point out that I don't even like the Dodgers as a team but I can appreciate their organization.

    There are other smart teams as well. I would be thrilled if we had the success the Dodgers have had recently. They are also incredibly setup for years as well.

    That isn't perfect but Seager's value according to them is a bit lower. Personally I think that trade value for Seager is low. We're talking about a first-division high-end SS still controllable for two seasons. Very rarely do you see two contenders deal young stud players for each other, but a Hader/Seager swap would make sense for both sides. I get what you are saying but he is about to get very expensive. He made 4 million this year and is in line for some big raises.

    I can see that being a possibility due to Seager's salary, team control left and other options at the position. Personally I would do it if we feel like we can extend him with some confidence.

    The mental gymnastics by some to say Hader should have been taken out for Lyles (or another righty) against a lefty is amusing. Carry on bfan!

    Woodruff, Davies, Lyles, Houser, Gio. That should be a low cost rotation without a ton of injury concerns. Being able to stay healthy is something that really gets overlooked when it comes to starters. Sign a few guys with potential for AAA and hopefully Burnes will get it figured out. Non tender/release Anderson and Nelson. Spend the money on the offense.

    Cole would be a nice get but doesn't fit our payroll limitations. Just like last offseason, I would rather throw money at the offense.

    I'm not sold on Grisham yet. He also struggles to make contact and his .231BA is nothing to write home about. I think Gamel is a better OF, but may be more expensive. A toss up right now. It's easy to forget that Grisham is only 22 years old.

    I hope he is good but I wasn't incredibly impressed by his highlight videos. As always, the UW staff will coach him up.

    What was the most ridiculous request? There was a mom that asked us to donate product so her adult son could sell it within miles of our business (basically competing with us). He wanted to save up for a vacation but didn't want to get a job. This person was not disabled by the way. We donate A LOT and pretty much to any worthy cause. We don't really really promote it and it stings me when I hear that we make so much money from the local community.

    I help out with my family's business that is only open 6 weeks in September and October. Among many things, I answer all of the emails and handle the social media/promotion. The amount of donation requests we get are unbelievable. I received 15 today alone and most of them are just stupid.
