If the Bucks sign a max player, they are going to pay the luxury tax and try to keep as many guys as possible.

Even with Giannis, I can't wrap my mind around a deserving max free agent coming to Milwaukee.

Normally I would say that you just pick someone like Moose up at the deadline. However, the division should be so incredibly competitive that we would probably want him for the entire season. Also, Milwaukee sports fans need to have a player with the nickname Moose as we have had for a while now.

I'm just trying to find a single reason why the Pelicans would POSSIBLY be on board with this? What the heck do they gain by making this deal? They save a little money this year, right? Is that all? I'd have to think they could have gotten more. Those Washington second round picks might have value.

I am incredibly excited after this trade. This team has a legit chance at the finals. One thing that might be overlooked is the roster spot that is now opened as well. I would like an Ellington/Matthews buyout signing.

Keuchel being able to go 6-7 innings a start would be HUGE for our bullpen. The fact that we could try and line him up against LH heavy teams would be another bonus. This signing would be an awesome way to end the offseason.

I can think of one that may have thought that - the 1970 Orioles Their starting 5 of Cuellar, McNally, Palmer, Phoebus, and Hardin started 161 of their 162 games that year, with 60 complete games and 12 shutouts. Those 5 tossed nearly 80 percent of the team's innings that season. Back when men were men.

I am 100% fine with the platoon if it means they will upgrade the pitching before ST.

Certainly not the 4 years/$82 million that MLB Trade Rumors predicted. I would predict 3 years/$50 million. 3 years and $50 million would be a pretty decent value signing I imagine. It just seems that DS is determined to add a LH Starter.

This would be a surprising signing. I have no idea how much we would be offering per season but a three year offer isn't super long.

Sorry I’m late to the party... But why does it bother you? It's just a dumb thing to say, that's all. I am a part of a number of message boards and there is always someone saying it. I think certain posters feel like they need to comment on every thread, even if they don't add anything to the conversation.
