Andrus is interesting because it doesn't appear that his stats are really boosted by playing in Arlington. I wouldn't be worried about him for this season or the next couple but 2022 and 2023 could be pretty bad.

One thing to note is that Dietrich grades out very poorly on defensive WAR.

I get that it is rather unlikely that Machado would sign here long term or that the Brewers would do it either. However, you guys don't have to be dbags about it for people that think it's possible.

Domingo really needs to go down to AAA for regular at bats. Bring Keon or Brett up to give Cain a day or two off in CF.

I would like Machado on the team but he is playing over his head right now and is due for regression. It is likely he will do better than whomever we have playing SS the rest of the season but we will be giving up a lot to acquire him. I don't know if it is worth it.

My memory might be off, but I feel like his problem wasn't fielding, it was throwing the ball to first base. Glad you don’t have to throw to first at second base!! Said 46 minutes again later for effect!

He either needs to develop some power or be able to play CF. I have not written him off as he is really young for his league.

Cubs have same situation with their pen too. Plus, wouldn't surprise me if Hader and/or Knebel are still available tomorrow. I'm with you FV, they aren't done for the series.

I don't know if the Cubs have a "For the love of God, don't swing" sign but if there was ever a time to create that sign, that at bat by Baez was it. Go up there without a bat?
