    I definately agree that the board has gone down a little bit in general and appreciate rluz for bringing it up. What are other message boards like SOS doing? I have a couple of ideas: all new posters have a probationary period where they have to wait a certain time before they can post after they register. In that period, they can be gotten rid of much easier than someone who has been here for years and knows the rules. I think that if you make posters observe for a while (like I did years ago when I joined) before you post, they will know that this is not the ESPN message board. Another benefit would be that it would keep away trolls who would want to post right away and would not be willing to wait.

    That would definately not be enough for Halladay. I think more along the lines of Gamel or Escobar, Salome or Jeffress and one lower level prospect would do it. I would also do that in a heartbeat.

    I'm getting very annoyed at all the bandwagon Brewers fans all around now and also on this message board. I remember back a few years ago when there was not as many people (not that there is anything wrong with how it is now). It's probably a pet peeve of mine but I dispise all bandwagoners!

    I would very much not get your masters if you are still umemployed. Many schools around here have major budget problems (they all say they do) and more education=higher salary. I think I was hired in part because I was going to make less than the other more experienced candidates. I have talked to about 10 other teachers/administrators on the subject and they agree to not go for that until you are settled in at a school.

    Bay is a terrible outfielder in reality. I think Soriano and Braun are pretty close when you factor in ranger, neither are the most intelligent in terms of decision making out there.

    I have 3 friends coming from out of the area and need tickets for that Saturday game. I prefer bleachers but anything will be considered!

    I recently was able to get a teaching job fresh out of college and I am a lucky one from what I am hearing (3rd interview only). My advice would be to use the dpi website and WECAN. I really like WECAN and my suggestion would be to really take the time to answer the 12 questions properly. I would also google teacher interview questions and be incredibly prepared before you go. I spent hours on end practicing questions that I knew were going to be in my interview. I did not have any "ins" really for my job but I just did my homework and prepared accordingly. Something that I did not see was making a portfolio. I got rave reviews about mine and it again took hours to put together. I had pictures with students and myself from student teaching that really put across the relationships I had with students.

    So I just recently got a teaching position in the New London School District and now I need a place to live. I am looking for something within 20 minutes to the school and hopefully something that has a lot of younger type people. Also, hopefully a place where I do not have to worry about intruders covering themselves in BBQ sauce. Does anyone have any good ideas? I was told that living by the Timber Rattlers stadium might be a good area.
