  1. Soler to the Braves. Either he or Ozuna is going to have to play the field which is a 😳.
  2. Reds rank 21st in defense (Brewers 4th) so that should help Montas. Similar Pitchers to Frankie Montas Based on Velocity and Movement: 2019 Brandon Woodruff, 2020 Brandon Woodruff (https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/frankie-montas-593423?stats=statcast-r-pitching-mlb) I am hoping the team saw something they could "fix". One of those Sveum posts that show us the upside with him would be perfectly cromulent right now.
  3. Probably put Ross in the pen but he likely won't be there long because either he or someone in the rotation will get hurt.
  4. So the rotation is likely (in no particular order): Montas, Myers, Peralta, Rea and Civale. Let's go get a bat please.
  5. Still possible
  6. The price for Flaherty must have been too high so the team pivoted.
  7. Not the bullpen guy I was expecting the team to trade
  8. Didn't see that one coming
  9. If Sal is going to look this bad, play Perkins
  10. I am fine trading Black for someone with control beyond this year but he is the "highest" rated guy I would move.
  11. Chourio being awesome lately is major for the lineup.
  12. Deadpool and Wolverine. Had some funny one liners but the story was weak and there was yet again about 20-30 minutes of pointless content. Went with three other people and everyone agreed that most modern movies don't edit enough.
  13. I'm guessing I would have looked like what Bauers did if I ever got a MLB at bat
  14. Mitchell being mentioned as a possible trade piece but still in the starting lineup.
  15. How's his back? We don't need another injured starter.
  16. You mean because no one can spell his name properly?
  17. -6.9 on the Baseball Trade Value website.... Efflin: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/zach-eflin-621107?stats=statcast-r-pitching-mlb Bassitt: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/chris-bassitt-605135?stats=statcast-r-pitching-mlb
  18. That seems pretty light for Paredes at first glance.
  19. Winker to the Mets. You can all breathe easy now.
  20. Kinda odd because we will soon have a glut of relievers but we didn't give up much. Blalock is just a guy and the other dude is pretty far away and was bad before this year. It seems like Arnold has been very busy.
  21. Here's a few trades: Brewers: Lowe (12.8 BTV) Rays: Mitchell (10.8 BTV) and Blalock (1.9 BTV) Rays get a controllable and cheap often injured but talented player. Brewers get a less controllable and often injured, more expensive player that fits a need now and in 2025. Arnold has mentioned the team wants a left handed bat and Lowe fits that need. Brewers: Kikuci (5.2 BTV) Jays: Wichrowski (4.2 BTV) and O'Rae (Probably around 1.0 BTV) Kikuci would strengthen the rotation for the stretch run. The team likely would prefer to add a lefty to their right handed dominant staff. The Jays get a promising young starter and a speedy Canadian prospect. Brewers: Fedde (21.4 BTV) Sox: Black (13.3 BTV) and Wiemer (7 BTV) The Sox needs an influx of talent at many positions. Black doesn't really have a defined defense position and can learn where that is on the job. Wiemer has been hot lately and provides a boom/bust player with plus defense. Fedde provides a playoff caliber starter that can be plugged into the rotation in 2025 as well. I also think they will trade either Milner or Payamps but I could not think of any good destinations or values there.
