  1. You have kids and that means you get a tax break... why? I also pay for schools for those kids as well. I don't have a problem with paying taxes but it's dumb that I pay more because I choose to not have kids, that's all.
  2. Being a non married with no kids decent earner at tax time. My married friends with kids let me know how much I get screwed each tax season.
  3. Yeah well the details are kinda important on his "potential" trade. What is the player and what are the conditions for it to become a 1st round pick?
  4. The issue with Lamar Jackson is Baltimore can and would likely match the contract offer the Jets would give him. If I were the Jets, I would want to get this done sooner than later even if it means paying a little more than you want to.
  5. Exactly, this guy understands what leverage is.
  6. You guys believe what he says more than I do. He lost credibility with the whole "immunized" thing.
  7. That story doesn't make sense about Rodgers retiring until he heard he was being shopped. He is just trying to make the Packers look like the bad guys which is what he wanted all along.
  8. Yep, I am buying like crazy. This isn't terrible for a guy that's a buy and never sell investor.
  9. "The GM of the Jets, Aaron Rodgers, has agreed to trade Aaron Rodgers to the Jets"- Aaron Rodgers. This is what I expect to hear on that show tomorrow.
  10. Did not expect Brook Lopez to be the team enforcer but maybe he is just mad they closed down Splash Mountain and is taking it out on the league.
  11. I am very curious to see what the comp is for this trade. If we don't get their first this year, I will be disappointed.
  12. Rodgers is negotiating to get "his guys" to come with him.
  13. You didn't watch Zach Wilson attempt to play quarterback if you have no idea why the Jets would want Rodgers.
  14. Came across this, just thought I would share it: https://www.baseballrumors.me/2023/03/mlb-rumors-padres-have-3-brewers.html?fbclid=IwAR3HIkzcZq3y7-8kU21W0vcoBPv_Pl3PBL9lsEGjg2rIOOP4RZt3ee7e7u8
  15. Trade Rodgers and sign Lamar Jackson.
  16. No way they let a player have that much power by threatening to retire. This isn't going to happen anways.
  17. I have to imagine the league would step in if something like that happened.
  18. Yes, I am sure I misread the article and it should be 25 and older.
  19. 62% of people 25 and under do not have a college degree. That is shocking to me as I don't know/hang out with anyone around my age that doesn't have one.
  20. Deathly afraid of milk? Off my draft board.
  21. Love Willy and he is my favorite player on the team. However, unless he takes a discount (and it doesn't sound like he will), you have to trade him. I would rather throw money at Frelick, Chourio, etc to try and get an extra year or two of free agency years out of them. We can really only throw "big" money at one or two guys and unfortunately Yelich was who they made the decision on for one of them.
  22. Cleveland spends even less than we do so no chance they are interested.
  23. I would bet money on seeing Winker in the OF and Frelick not making the OD roster. History tells me so.
  24. Adding Haslem hopefully will mean the team will be committed to staying in the tax. I am assuming they are losing money right now.
  25. Dumping those two for scraps to save payroll absolutely would have been major news. There were no reports I saw where it was discussed.
