  1. Here's video of that catch: Are my ears playing tricks on me, or is the Keith Jackson and Howard Cosell calling a BASEBALL game together?
  2. Just a quick reminder that this is a thread about Logan Morrison, not Mike Fiers.
  3. Good point. 16 - 5 since he started playing. I think this really matters in the context of Wisconsin's season. I think Potter playing in the 1st part of the year flips 2-3 games to them. I think they win one, if not both, of their games in New York, and I also think that St. Mary's game doesn't go to OT if he's in there.
  4. BIG TEN CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great comeback. Hard not to think this season is one of the best coaching jobs in recent team history. This team had almost everything go wrong for them this year, and they're the best team in the conference. Unbelievable, and I couldn't be happier for the team and Gard.
  5. This is where not having fouled much really kills Indiana.
  6. Man. Every time they score to start a run, Indiana answers with an absurd offensive rebound to extend it back. Must play better inside.
  7. Just a terrible five minutes of basketball here. Ford commits a terrible turnover at 38-37 with a chance to take the lead, followed by 5 minutes where it looks like they haven't played basketball before.
  8. 20 wins and a win away from a Big Ten Championship. Unreal.
  9. I agree with this in part. I do think it extends the window by at least a few years, but I agree that it may present financial challenges for the last couple of years as well.
  10. Very surprising and completely out of the blue. I said to someone this afternoon that I doubted the Brewers would re-sign Yelich as he could be a $300-mil player. Literally at 1:00 this afternoon.
  11. That's really not true, though. The S&P 500 is still up 13.32% vs. 1/1/19 values.
  12. Yes, FSWI is on Hulu Live.
  13. For the record, I've had zero issues watching any Wisconsin sports teams with Hulu Live since we made the switch in the fall of 2018.
  14. It really is somewhat puzzling to me that any point-of-sale retailers still take personal checks in this age of digital money. "I'll take this piece of paper from you and will wait to find out if you actually have the money to pay me in a few days after you're long gone!" Restaurants stopped years ago. I understand things like the electric company and such, but not retailers.
  15. Crosby re-signed to a 3-year, $12.9 million deal. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2020/02/22/green-bay-packers-retain-stability-kicking-game-re-signing-mason-crosby/4844438002/
  16. Nice bat, and average at worst defense while playing a lot of positions. Surprising he was a free agent so late here. Is there something on him that I'm missing?
  17. Honestly, this. Now that the ball has been pointed out, that bothers me more than any of the new stuff.
  18. Yep. Very much a 'national sportswriter who doesn't know the Brewers at all sees Brewers didn't sign any big-name free agents and assumes they had a terrible offseason as a result' article.
  19. Curious if you say this having been to Brewers/Cubs games at Miller Park in the last 10 years, or not?
  20. I believe both Lowry and Lancaster both graded out poorly this year in general, and there could be upgrades there fairly easily.
  21. This team is just a jekyl/hyde home/road team, and that's the case for a lot of BIG teams this year.
  22. I mean, it's not like you're required to click on every thread until then.
  23. And zero issues with service arrival windows, crappy call centers, or installation fees.
  24. The NFL has quietly had 4 great Super Bowl games in a row.
