  1. Bush at 88 pitches should come out for the 7th.
  2. Dan O'Brien sounds like he's late for his Math Club meeting.....
  3. Dan O'Brian in the booth tomorrow? Well, he certainly has a voice for newsprint. No Gord?
  4. Russell Branyan breaks the 0-0 tie in the 9th by homering off of Mr. lunatic. Woot.
  5. I hit "rewind" on the Tivo two or three times to watch the awesomeness that that segment was. That might even be YouTube worthy....
  6. 1. Wouldn't be the first time that happened to a team. It's really no different than a clubhouse/dugout brawl seemingly sparking the Cubs. 2. You can say "piss" on this board? I think so. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. I don't want to put the cart ahead of the horse Peavey Definitely fair enough. But (hopefully) three consecutive wins vs. two good AL teams is nothing to sneeze at. I think the no-no kind of pissed them off.
  8. Why hello there good Brewers, welcome back.
  9. That bit with Craig coming back from commercial and having no clue he was on wasn't just awkward, it was really creepy.
  10. We'll probably see Cappy 2 in the 7th or 8th depending on how long Vargas goes.
  11. Behind Sheets, Vargas has been our most consistent starter this season.
  12. Braun needs to let balls like that go, even if it's against his instincts. Still, that's great range.
  13. That second strike to Graffy was an absolute joke, especially considering it was 6 inches more down and outside than the pitch that had just been called a ball.
  14. I haven't heard anything in terms of pricing, but the description of the drum kit sounds like that will be a ~$100 bump in price as it is, let alone the normal~80 for the Guitar and game.
  15. I'd imagine they're waiting to announce it after this road trip. They're very big on bringing the guy in for BP with the big club and a tour of Miller Park.
  16. As bjkrautk mentioned earlier in the thread, Rock Band is scheduled out sometime late this year. They announced 4 tracks for the game, all the originals: * "Say It Ain't So" - Weezer * "Paranoid" - Black Sabbath * "Won't Get Fooled Again" - The Who * "In Bloom" - Nirvana Also, June's Game Informer magazine has a feature article on the game. A link to a message board post describing the features: www.neogaf.com/forum/show...p?t=163628 Wow. If half that stuff is true, this game is going to be absurd..... and cost as much as the game system you play it on.
  17. Apparently Jim Powell hinted that Cappy headed to the DL would mean the Brewers would call up Steve Bray...
  18. I'll take 'his groin has been bothering him for a while, but it's finally too much pain to take' for 500, Alex. It would shed some light as to why he was so amazingly crappy his last time out.
  19. Unless you want to show me how big losses historically resulted in losing streaks for the Brewers above what would be expected, I'm going to assume you pulled that out of the baseball cliche book. This is one loss and I think the Brewer's talent will serve them well this year. Good thing a prolonged stretch of losing baseball following a devastating loss is just a baseball cliche and not something that actually happens in real...... Oh, crap.
  20. If a tie really does go to the runner, Gross was safe.
  21. I second the wishing we get no-hit thing. It has been said before, but again, some of us here actually hope for the Brewers to win every night.
  22. Great point. I agree, which is why it is so frustrating. If they legitimately did it to set up a huge movie or sell more DVD's, then they really stuck it to the fans of the series with an already gimmicky ending. EDIT: And it's going to be really frustrating when the DVD comes out and its apparent that they chose the worst of the three filmed endings to actually end the series.
  23. This Counsell leading off thing has worked quite well tonight. And as a result, we're going to have to endure it until he's back to horrible again.
