    Wow, wow, wow. 2 offensive mistakes. Running error... and how late was weeks getting to 2nd base? It was Clark at 2nd... And Miller's play wasn't a running error. In that situation he has to go to either make the fielder chose to play for him, or for the double play. If he stays put, they get two outs and we get nothing either way.

    At least we now know Bill Hall is NOT an everyday SS. Based on one game? That's pretty absurd.

    Yep, Hall is out. Looks injury-related, though. I fully expect the offense to completely go into a shell here now and lose this game 6-5.

    Gross was safe by a full step. Wasn't even close, but the ump blew the call.

    Watching the Cubs fumble and bumble themselves out of scoring chances in a 0-0 game sure is entertaining. Makes me somewhat upset that they've GOT to have an All-Star rep by default.

    Now we've jumped over 4 of the 6 teams in front of us in the wildcard race. That's why I'm more concerned with games behind than who's in front of us. If we take care of business, things will sort themselves out.

    Hopefully the AL continues it's dominance over the NL (except for the Brewers) so that we can continue to move up in the standings. We've officially leaped over 3 of the six teams that were ahead of us in the wildcard race. Go White Sox!

    What makes you say that? He has only given up two runs and is at 74 pitches. Just seems like he's getting hit hard, but narrowly avoiding disaster. I definitely had a feeling that the Royals were going to break through that half inning, then quickly remembered that they're horrible. I imagine he'll get the 6th, but I hope we don't push it too far.

    Bush is not long for this game, I'm afraid. Hopefully he gets out of this allowing 1 run or less, get the 6th in, then we'll have to take our chances with the pen.

    That's a HORRIBLE call... clearly hit Lee in the elbow and wasn't within 6 inches of the bat.

    Not a bad day for the Brewers. By my count, not only did we gain a half a game on everyone ahead of us in the division, but also gained a half a game on everyone infront of us in the wildcard race that played except for LA. Good stuff.

    Homer- I'm positive Braun didn't sign a Major League deal, as he's not on the 40-man.
