  1. JJ Hardy? Um, wouldn't he be better used as a defensive replacement later (if we can get close), rather than a pinch hitter? Your other options are Hart or Moeller there. I think JJ was clearly the right choice.
  2. NOW can we say that this game is over?
  3. Repeat...dude is hurt. I was talking about Lee, actually. EDIT: Which you discovered as well. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif Seriously, Lee has been slumping significantly, and it might be getting to the point where he should drop in the lineup.
  4. Nice win; however 18 LOB is unacceptable for any team, even if they are in the cellar. They only left 10 on base, actually.
  5. After last night...I'm not suprised. Turnbow hasn't been the problem, and is rested. Why take the ball out of his hand here and have Sheets throw 120+?
  6. That slump is reaching 6 weeks, which is unacceptable. And why is Sheets pitching the 9th?
  7. Anyone know how many pitches Carlos has seen total tonight? My guess is 5 or less...
  8. An inning ending DP by Moeller would probably be the best way to screw this up.
  9. [how many have we left on base] 15 Actually 8, according to Gamecast.
  10. Lee's second half is a prime reason for why we should end all the talk of giving him an extension...
  11. That 'Joke' still sold 70,000 tickets and was probably the highest watched thing on TV that night by a wide margin over 2nd place.
  12. Gotta feel pretty happy getting out of there with only 1 run allowed...
  13. Seeing Lyle's notes on Clemens was pretty cool....
  14. Sure, but can't we only dock him 20%? That would be a problem. We can sign him to an extension at any price. If he was offered arby, THEN he could only be docked 20%.
  15. Helms has definitely found his role. I'd have zero problem bringing him back for a reduced price next year.
  16. I sure hope Lyle can get his average back over .280 and pick up a few homers to get to 20something. The thing is, people need to remember these dry spells when Lyle does heat up. Suddenly Lyle will bat like .350 for a week and a half, and people will start saying how Overbay should stay and we should consider trading Prince.... totally forgetting about these dry spells that Lyle goes through fairly regularly.
  17. Nothing like being yelled at in giant yellow font to make a point...
  18. Seems like Ned's been tossed every 3 or 4 days lately.
  19. I have never seen Ned Yost that angry.
  20. I think he was trying to say it was D'amico, but it wasn't at County Stadium. Yup. D'amico hit the first triple ever at Miller Park.
  21. Schroeder: "The last Brewer pitcher to triple before Davis was Jeff D'Amico back at County Stadium." Uh huh. Check your facts again, Bill.
  22. And that should have been a 2-run HR...
