  1. Valentin had time to read a novel between the time the ball and Rickie reached home.
  2. TAR AND FEATHER ALERT!!! Especially considering that Cincy has kicked the crap out of us in our last couple of series...
  3. Did the runners just advance on a throw from the catcher back to the pitcher? Wow... first time I've seen that in a Brewers game. That's going to be on Sportscenter tonight.
  4. Where's the execution of moving the runners over? This is what he meant when he compared the Brewers and Cardinals.... This is what separates winning teams from losing teams. Not moving the runners over to 2nd and 3rd is what seperates them? All three struck out, so those runners wouldn't have scored whether they were at 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd. It had nothing to do with heart, it had everything to do with not driving in the runs. Is not getting a hit there caused by not having heart? I don't think so... even the best hitters are only going to get a hit there 1 out of 3 times.
  5. And then he flashes some of his insanely good stuff. Man, if he ever figures out the strikezone he's going to be insanely dominant.
  6. Pretty tough inning for DLR here. I understand the 'letting him learn and work through it' argument, but this is bordering on confidence-shattering.
  7. But, really, the Brewers need to send Fielder and Hart back down immediately. They do the Brewers no good on the bench. Well, except for hitting PH walk-off HR's to beat Pittsburgh yesterday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  8. Should have been out of the inning. Sure can feel the wheels coming off...
  9. That's not great, either. Banning is at the mod's discretion. Please don't exacerbate the situation. The smiley face was meant to show lighthearted ribbing....
  10. Oh, get over yourself, Mr. Sensitive. Hope you enjoy your banning. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  11. Well, we could be in New Orleans tonight..... Not entirely sure that was necessary or appropriate... Just sayin.
  12. Good grief... Hart is like a train wreck in RF. He seemed servicable as a CF. Maybe it's was just that he wasn't really tested in the games he played there, rather than him actually being servicable.
  13. Yup, looks like a surprizingly big crowd there tonight to see the Brewers lay an egg.
  14. Way to not catch the throw, Billy!! Good grief. This game is too sickening to watch, and it's only the 1st freaking inning.
  15. Daron- "In his career vs. the Brewers, he's 33 for 100. That's a .327 batting average." Ummm.... yeah. Check the math on that one again, fellas.
  16. Every other pitch from Davis is shoulder high... 29 pitches in the first and counting. No whining about run support in this one, Doug. You're pitching like crap.
  17. Davis is all over the place. Nothing like throwing 30 pitches in the first inning to set the bullpen up for a long night.
  18. Should have been out of that inning with zero damage.... Furcal was out at first.
  19. Furcal was out on that close pickoff to 1st, the ump blew the call. But that was actually a balk.
  20. And Jorge is in... so why on EARTH did Ohka have to pitch there?
  21. To add to the crazyness, I'd just like to point out that Kane Davis threw 9 pitches on Thursday, and 3 yesterday, so I'd be shocked if he wasn't available tonight as well. Seems like total crazyness out of the dugout tonight. Or maybe drawing names out of a hat to make things exciting. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  22. Well, if the idea was to use our best, most experienced arms in the pen, that sure has worked out great. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif 6 runners have come in to score off the pen tonight. Totally unacceptable.
  23. To add to Batman's thoughts, good thing Ohka's in to keep DLR from becoming overworked. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Seriously, Capellan hasn't pitches since Thursday, and de la Rosa hasn't pitched since August 21. Does the handling of the staff tonight make ANY sense at all?
  24. And Ohka is in... my appologies to Toby, as apparently none of Capellan, Davis, or DLR are available tonight, for some odd reason.
