  1. The least you can do after that atrocious chase is run your butt over to 1st and force a throw, Thames.
  2. And once again, runner on 3rd should have never been there. Chacin threw a strike on a 3-2 count. What else can he do on that?
  3. No, Chacin loading the bases blew it. Coming in with the bases loaded is pretty much a recipe for disaster. If he gets three outs with only that single are you really blaming Jennings? This. Can't expect a guy to have 0% of inherited runners score. He gave up largely a bloop single the other way. I was angry last night for the 4 pitch walk, but tonight's outing was a B+ in my book. A bloop single?? No, that was a solid single. Good hitting.
  4. No, Chacin loading the bases blew it. Coming in with the bases loaded is pretty much a recipe for disaster. If he gets three outs with only that single are you really blaming Jennings? He got hosed on an awful call and then intentionally walked a batter. He gave up one hit. Jennings has repeatedly been put in these matchup situations and repeatedly not got the job done. No, I wasn't expecting him to get out of it unscathed but allowing a sac fly, drawing a double plus, getting a K, would be nice one of these times.
  5. And Jennings blows it. Who would've seen it coming?
  6. Should be a man on 2nd, 1 out, instead it will likely be 2 runs. Inexcusable how much these guys affect outcomes of games simply because they're bad at their job.
  7. I didn’t see it, what’d he do? Hit one right out in front of the plate, Pina grabbed it before it could roll back foul, Bell just walked right back to the dugout.
  8. There comes a point when you are pot committed, to use a poker term! Yeah, I don’t blame people for going to bed. I just don’t have the internal discipline necessary to do so. It's not even necessarily that I do. It's just that I know if I don't, I will toss and turn and wonder what is happening in the game and not sleep anyway.
  9. I can think of one, from my childhood. Would have been early 90s I think and it was against the White Sox. Sox scored 3 in some extra inning and Brewers rallied for 3 to tie, ended up winning on a Willie Randolph walkoff hit in the 19th I think.
  10. And how important. To burn your entire pen, blow a 4 run lead, you're in a pennant race, morale wise it would have just been a devastating loss, but it wasn't.
  11. Well, that's it. Having a nice August but Ryan Braun simply doesn't scare anyone anymore. 5 years ago they probably walk him.
  12. Hahaha, wow. Screw this crap, goodnight. Brewered again. 13 freaking innings to push a single run across and you couldn't do it. Well done boys. Pirates own the Brewers.
  13. Ball 1 to Freese was easily a strike. I don't understand how an umpire goes from a massive strike zone to a pin sized zone over the course of the same game.
  14. Isn't that kind of the epitome of the team's offense this year? I believe this is the 3rd game this season they have had a 4-0 lead after 1 inning and if they lose today they will have lost all 3.
  15. Winning still has consequences, but it's sure a lot better than a loss after how much has been invested.
