Scahill would not have been my choice for a DFA, I see at least three better candidates in the pen for that. Excited to see Woodruff though.

Depends. If Dombrowski hasn't had enough punishment from Stearns already and comes calling saying, 'Hey Dave, we're 3.5 back of the Yanks and really want to add a big piece. We really like Domingo Santana, enough that we're willing to offer Devers', then I'd trade Santana. Total hypothetical among thousands of different hypotheticals. Just point being that anyone is available for the right price. -
I know it doesn't get any more garbage time than this, but at least Broxton can go into the day off feeling good about something again.

Taylor Jungmann is still on there too. And Lopez but he pitched on Friday. So it'll probably be Suter I guess. Apparently we still have Adrian Houser on our 40 man roster. Does he need to be??

Starting to think that my joking suggestion that they just go with an 8 man piggyback rotation and 4 man bullpen of Knebel, Barnes, Hader and Scahill might not be a terrible idea.

The guy for who? Who's going down? I believe you get a 26th man on double header days. Oh then yeah I guess that makes sense. Probably wouldn't be my choice but I guess if you're going to use someone on the 40 it pretty much has to be Suter or Espino.

I have to agree. We do have a day off tomorrow. How your team's worst reliever winds up with the most innings is pretty mind boggling to me.

Torres ought to throw pregame BP to Thames. At least one of them would be bound to break out of it then.

Broxton was way, way worse last year first half and they still didn't DFA him and his stats this year even after a terrible slump aren't woefully awful. They're not just going to cut bait. He could use some time in AAA but if he leaves the 40 it'll be because of a trade.

Pina needs to be starting 3/5 games now. He's better defensively and seems to be a little more consistent hitting. Yeah I would agree. I think he's pretty far ahead.

I don't know what the stats are and am just going by the eye test, but it seems like among the pitching staff Anderson is dreadfully awful at getting down sac bunts.
