Broxton has over a .900 OPS in his past 30 days of games too. OF is looking really good lately. Honestly, we assume Brinson should be up in June or July, but he could end up being a September callup guy.
Is there any chance that Wily is going to transform to a shutdown reliever just from moving to the pen? Because that was shutdown reliever stuff the last 2 innings.
If I were Villar I would probably be laying awake every night thinking about how much money I turned down. I'm not saying he does, but I probably would.
Nice inning Wily! Even the walk shouldn't have been one. Would have to think there's a good chance Knebel isn't available today. He's seen a lot of work lately.
Total joke that that LaStella wasn't rung up on 1-2. He should be back in the dugout. Wasn't even close to being a ball. Timmons has been pathetic today.
Not at all would be sweet. I'll take a cheap 5 inning win, pen could use it. But based on what Trwi said that probably won't happen. Oh well, there's still a part of me that would rather have 4 more innings of Brewer baseball anyway.
Winds gusting to 20 mph plus 43 degrees plus light rain = really bad conditions. I'm not saying it's not bad conditions, but more talking whether it's something they can end up playing through or if it's something that could cause this game to be called early.
The end of the rain is in Joliet. Even of they go into a rain delay, it's not going to last long enough for them to call the game. Good to hear. Augie keeps making it sound like it's the worst conditions he's ever seen.
