  1. Nah, I’ll let you go ahead and beat your chest later when we win, seems important to you.
  2. No, you just sat idly by all game saying nothing and then decided to give a little cheap shot late to everyone who had been posting in frustration all game.
  3. Okay? Really not sure what you expect from a thread that is literally play by play reactions from a game.
  4. Cmon Megill. That sucked. Hope we can get it done in extras.
  5. Oh good, Megill is going to pick tonight to crap the bed anyway and make the rally all for nothing.
  6. Vaughn! offense woke up today. Just in the nick of time.
  7. Great challenge by Sal (though it was an awful, awful call, not tough to tell), and great hit to follow it up with. Love to see it.
  8. My God you guys. One hit? At Coors? Against a blah starting pitcher? Bravo, bravo. Get some guys up here who can actually hit.
  9. Yes, they’re very good at what they do. Here’s a counterpoint. If the Mets truly believed that Sproat was a future high end rotation piece, why would they throw him in as a second piece for one single year of Freddy Peralta?
  10. Rengifo could get an AB on the moon and still not hit one 400 feet.
  11. MLB history is littered with guys who had “stuff” who never amounted to a hill of beans. Sometimes it just never clicks.
  12. Those guys did show actual promise and upside before struggling. Sproat has never shown a thing other than resembling Luigi but being likely worse at pitching than him,
  13. I can’t believe anyone thinks we don’t need someone like Skubal. We have two legitimate starting pitchers.
  14. Yeah it hasn’t been apparent in the vast majority of his starts all season,
  15. What a great 0-2 pitch to the #9 hitter. Can’t wait to hear more about how this guy has ace stuff and is just a couple tweaks away from being a huge impact guy in our rotation.
  16. Yeli either has a spectacular big moment hit or he strikes out in horrendous embarrassing fashion. There is no middle ground.
  17. I’m coming around a bit on Hamilton. Is he an everyday starter on the left side of your infield? No, probably shouldn’t be. Is a solid utility man to have on your roster? Yes.
