  1. We have at least 3 guys in our pen -- Demaria, Lehr, and Fernandez, that have no business being on a major league ballclub. Bullpen needs must be addressed fast. It's getting out of hand. Pretty sad when you miss Tommy Phelps.
  2. I love that Rickie can turn a single into a double, so to speak, with his speed. He's almost automatic stealing 2nd. Too bad we couldn't drive him in. This is going to be one tough loss to take if we don't come back. Meat of the order coming up next inning, have to get it done then.
  3. I am thinking that stranding Lee at 2nd last inning is going to come back to hurt us and we lose 6-5...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Hope I am wrong....!
  4. De La Rosa with a quick, effective, inning...heart of the Mets order couldn't touch him. What's going on?
  5. Normally JDLR will follow up a horrible relief stint with a pretty decent one and alternate back. It's his way of making sure the coaching staff maintains at least a little faith in him. Unfortunately, he pitched pretty well last time he pitched.
  6. Well, Lehr is gone, it's JDLR, heh, here goes.
  7. That stunk. Good to get 2 runs back, but then 3 straight strikeouts don't help anything, leaving Lee stranded at 2nd with nobody out.
  8. Lehr's 6.94 ERA doesn't really tell the story of how bad he really has been since the first 2 weeks.
  9. Ah, Justin Lehr. Another one of those bullpen guys that you wish didn't have a roster spot.
  10. This inning really has been a killer. Kind of a shame for Dana because he really didn't pitch that horribly today. Poor control and 1 mistake pitch to Beltran is what costed him. But there's no excuse for not putting up better offensive production...hopefully we will see it.
  11. Okay, that should be about it for Eveland. He's lost it.
  12. Without even checking how his competition is doing, I would have to say right now that Prince is ROY in a landslide so far.
  13. THANK you Prince. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. Come ON guys. You're making another AAA pitcher look great.
  15. Atta boy Rickie...we need to start hitting this clown.
  16. I despise Carlos Beltran.... And I despise walks...but giving up one to the pitcher (and having him eventually score) makes it much worse. We need to start hitting Gonzalez. No reason whatsoever that this guy should be putting the clamps on our bats like he is.
  17. Leadoff walk to the pitcher?? Ouch...come on Dana, no need to try to get cute with the pitcher, he's not going to hurt you. Just throw strikes.
  18. For those watching, is Eveland hitting his spots?? From Gameday it looks like he's all over the place.
  19. Hernandez's ERA is a robust 14.54 on the season. Is it really that cool for us to have a guy on the roster who can throw a knuckleball?
  20. Back under .500 after today. Ben H should have been pulled for the PH'er, it was our only real shot at getting back in this game, but nope, we passed on it just to have him come out here and continue to do this. 1-5 road trip is beyond unacceptable. We were lucky just to win that one. I'm very disappointed in this team right now and where I thought we would be headed this season versus where we look to actually be headed.
  21. Nothing like stranding 2nd and 3rd with nobody out when you're desperately trying to get back in the game. Same old RISP crap. Mind-boggling aggravating. You'd think giving up 5 runs in the 1st, at least we could get a break with 2 guys in scoring position and nobody out. But nope, that's not how we roll.
  22. Ben H. hardly dominated AAA last year. His numbers were pretty lackluster if I remember right.
  23. Ballgame. 4th time shut out. This team, and offense, is baffling. Guys, we have too many pitching problems right now to be able to hold the other team to 3 runs every night. If you fail to take advantage when we do, it's going to be a long season.
  24. Hey, De La Rosa's ERA is south of 9.00!
