    I think Woodruff’s market was just really tough to predict and I’m guessing that’s what his agent told him. I could have seen his best offer being 3/75 or 2/35 and neither would have really surprised me that much. So I understand Woodruff’s perspective — if he stays healthy and productive all of 2026, which is well within the range of possible outcomes, he’s still in a decent position to cash in on a big(ish) 2-4 year deal. If it doesn’t work out, he got 32 million to pitch in 2026 which at the time of his non-tender he probably doubted he’d make that the rest of his career.

    Not sure what you mean. He’s getting 22 plus the 10 buyout. 32M+ total but yeah 10 was already accounted for and going to happen either way.

    I agree with all this. However, having about 8 teams that have a decent shot at winning the NFC means our chances are probably 10-15%. The worst part about the 2025 Packers is that they gave us a 1 week preview in Week 1 of what they CAN be and then we haven’t seen anything close to it since. And every time since then you watch them and think, eh, they’re ok, but they could be so much more.

    Depends on the opponent. I expect them to also go for it on 4th down 5 times against us on Thanksgiving except go 4 for 5.

    Man, wasn’t rooting for Detroit but what a weak PI call to end the game. Just ridiculous to end a game like that.

    LOL. I don’t care how effective the tush push is. Going for it on your own 30 on 4th down up 10 to a team you’ve allowed 6 points to all game is incomprehensibly stupid. Detroit still can’t do anything though, so probably won’t cost them.

    Another dropped INT by the defense, another 3rd and long allowed. I mean every week this team makes you think they can’t possibly frustrate you more and they manage to outdo themselves again the following week.

    Between a huge PI call and basically tackling his own guy trying to make a pick, he has killed us.

    Another huge play not made by the defense completely ensures that this will be a touchdown drive.
