    I won't be too hard on Turang because he's had a great series, but he would tell you he should have had that out on Lindor at 2nd. Nonetheless, great job from Tobias working around it.

    Got a gift call on Strike 1, got away with a mistake on Strike 2, and beautiful spot on Strike 3.

    I'd say they're all available. Payamps is a vet who threw 17 pitches today and 14 the day before. I'd almost guarantee if they need him tomorrow, he's available. Ross threw 12 pitches today and had yesterday off. Can't see any reason at all that he wouldn't be available. The only one I could actually see maybe not being available is Civale just because asking him to go in 1 day of rest after a multi inning relief appearance is definitely changing his role up significantly, especially for a guy used to starting. But push comes to shove, if he feels fine and they need him, who knows. Now of course they probably have certain guys they'd "like" to have off if they can help it, but this is an October elimination game. Regular season rules are out the window. All hands on deck.

    The Mets had several opportunities to really blow this game open. Credit to the bullpen for hanging tough where they needed to and always keeping us within striking distance.

    As an aside RE: Ueck, kind of concerning if he wasn't calling games at home of this magnitude.

    I will definitely be disappointed if they lose tomorrow, but I'm happier for at least rallying and forcing a Game 3 no matter what than I would have been with being swept.

    Why not Mitchell? This is in no way directed at you -- but I just feel like Mitchell gets underappreciated. Garrett Mitchell has a career 121 OPS+. He was a 2 WAR player this year in less than 200 ABs, he's got a slick glove, cannon arm, great speed, and pop in his bat. Does a little bit of everything. He's a hell of a player and I feel like we don't always see him that way.

    Momentum? This was starting to be a monkey on the back. Maybe now that it's off, they can relax and get back to playing their ball and take this thing tomorrow.

    All these grown men cracking under the playoff pressure and the guy who isn't is the guy who can't even legally drink. I just don't buy the concept that only crusty old vets can handle playoff pressure. It's a certain guy, certain mindset.

    A completely punchless inning, and it's starting to get late. If they don't get it done in the 8th, they're probably not getting it done.
