  1. Talent-wise, looks like about an 83 win roster to me. So, 96-66 or so is probably about right.
  2. No dude, it was a fun season, with a bunch of high ranked team upsets along the way. That was kind of the point.
  3. I mean super fun regular seasons that inspire hope followed by massive wet fart choke jobs are kind of a time honored Wisconsin sports tradition. Nothing here we haven’t seen a million times before.
  4. Massively disappointing exit. This team was capable of a deep run, but we all knew the opposite was a possibility. Just didn’t get it done in crunch time.
  5. Overall, I didn’t see anything too egregious for Big 10 teams. A 4 seemed appropriate for Nebraska and a 3 seemed appropriate for Illinois. I thought a 2 was pretty generous for Purdue, but I would have expected us to be a 3 if we had won the tourney and they went into it a bit above us, so I can’t really argue with it.
  6. UW versus High Point. That’s going to be an upset special pick for a lot of brackets.
  7. I’ll say we’re a 4 or 5, doesn’t make a big difference which. I guess I could see a 6. Anything less than that should not happen.
  8. So close. On to selection Sunday.
  9. Now they’ve started falling again in a big way…
  10. It was cool to beat Illinois even when the 3’s weren’t falling. Michigan is just too good to beat when the 3’s aren’t falling.
  11. I can’t say he’s wrong, I fully expect Matt to have a successful 2026 regular season and then go deer in the headlights when something goes wrong in a playoff game.
  12. Agreed, there’s nobody outside of Willis that we lost that I am very shook about losing. Even some of the guys we brought back I am not crazy about. I would have kept Wilson over Brooks. That’s not a huge endorsement of the talent level on the roster right now. I see Rasheed Walker got 1 year and 10 million from Carolina. Looks like the massive market for him was greatly exaggerated. At least we extended Watson for a year. I just can’t bring myself to care about losing Doubs,
  13. I know I’m generally pessimistic, so I wanted to prove the faith I had in the Badgers today when they were down 8. (No, I know I’m not a high roller, lol)
  14. I think regardless of what happen against Michigan, the Badgers have earned at least a 5 seed. Now whether a 5 seed is even desirable or not is a whole different discussion.
  15. Far and away above anything else, rebounding is what will keep this teams’ ceiling lower than it otherwise would be.
  16. I think Baltimore just got cold feet. Everyone knew Crosby’s medical situation.
  17. Lol, the Ravens “backed out” of the Maxx Crosby trade? What a terrible look. The Bears are going to get him now, aren’t they? Their 26 and 27 1st and their two 2nds this year, write it down.
  18. Gary has been traded to the Cowboys for a late (day 3) pick.
  19. Franklin was atrocious in 2025 but a pretty good player before that. Was he playing injured last year?
  20. I have no idea what to expect this month from these guys. Their ceiling is winning the NCAA Tournament and their floor is getting blown out by 20 in a 5/12 matchup.
  21. Meh, it’s only like their 3rd best road win of the season. ;)
  22. Just getting destroyed on the glass. If they lose this game, it’ll be because of all the second chance points.
  23. Maxx Crosby domino fell. He’s on his way to Baltimore for 2026 and 2027 first round picks. I would consider this trade nearly identical to what we gave up for Parsons — Baltimore has an appealing #14 pick this year compared to our #20, but we also gave up Clark.
