    Achilles Tendinosis, yeah I had it and it builds slowly and recedes even slower. Basically took me nine months of zero activity.

    A season has 162 games, I'm not getting bent out of shape if seven on them are streamed and I cannot watch.

    A comfortable win over the Cubs and not a single Cub fan within fifteen feet of me. Of all games. Interesting that an error was later changed to a hit, then later a hit was changed to an error. I checked the box score out of curiosity, because Chicago's fourth run could have been a case of the run unearned to the team but earned to the individual.

    Norwich City is defeated by Leeds United in the English FA promotion play-offs. Maybe Mark Antanasio isn't spending enough money on players.

    I do prefer the noon games, albeit only seven. My brother lives in JAX and it's time for the eight-year itch. At least it won't be the season opener this time. According to him, it's Georgia v Florida in JAX the day before.

    I had E8 written in my scorebook only to learn it was a triple. That final out was hit so hard that I didn't see who caught it. Neither the person behind me. Had to leave that square blank. Who's the batboy this season that is setting speed records running all over the field?

    The WIAA Board of Ccontrol voted down 210-170 a proposal to have NIL for high school athletes. I would be 100% against this. Not surprised by the result, just shocked 170 voted in favor of it. Was the thought process to stay ahead of the courts?

    OK, going off on a tangent here. Today, I was reading the current edition of Track and Field News. The next issue the NCAA may face in court is NCAA athletes in Olympic sports allowed to play in professional tournaments and allowed to keep prize money. For example, tennis and track.

    The bigger story is Copeland leaving the program. First I heard of this. The second year in a row the second best player leaves. One step forward, one step back. Surprsied Leah Williams is still around.

    Interesting, Texas and New England had clouds. It was said that historically Texas would have the best odds of clear skies, upper Midwest in the spring not so. Can't always go with the odds.
