This trade has been shot down.

I would take Pedro over Maddux. Sad to see Maddux go however, it was awesome to watch him pitch and work the corners.

Is it possible that the Brewers Non-Tender Capuano?

MLB started out releasing 50-40. 44. Jeremy Jeffress http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/mi...sp?t=p_top&pid=502026

Basically the reason why we want DeJesus is everything people are saying. 1. Left Handed. 2. Could lead off for us. 3. Great OBP. 4. Doesn't strike out that much. Also, he is playing in a pitchers park in KC.

Around thanksgiving is when everything starts heating up. And then the winter meetings. We still have A LONG ways to go.

They could be using him in another deal as well (see, Jake Peavy)
  15. ELCABALLO45
Yeah, Ceda was a good looking young prospect. I think they overpayed for Gregg. And Gregg has injury history.

Its going to be interesting to see if Holliday can put up the same numbers outside of Coors and in the AL.
  17. ELCABALLO45
Love this move. Also, the Mets did choke again this year, and Randolph was not the manager.

Duh, how could I forget Jack Z. Before the season begings and they have a Brewers preview it better say under key losses... KEY LOSSES Trenni Kusnierek

Brian Roberts http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif. Man I want that guy. But back to this deal. The more I think about it the more I think it would make sense. And im the biggest Cam Boogie supporter on this board. Also, Cameron and Sabathia are best buds, Cameron to the Yankees... Sabathia to the....

I know everyone is hating on Melky (with reason) but if it happens lets just give the guy a chance. He had a pretty good year 2 years ago at the age of 22. He is a good defender. And would be cheap for the next 3 years. Also getting out of New York and getting out of the AL won't hurt him at all either.
  21. ELCABALLO45
1st Mike Maddux 2nd Trenni 3rd CC Sabathia. WE CANT WIN. This is a worse day then when Zambrano threw the no no in Miller Park. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif. Im going to go cry in my room now.

    1. They could bring back Kapler for a lot less and make him the regular CF. Sure, he's not likely to hit .300 playing everyday, and he's only adequate defensively but he'd be a lot cheaper and he's not quite the free swinger most of this roster is. The last time Gabe Kapler played everyday. And played in more then 130 games was 2004 in Boston. He drew 15 walks that year. 15. This year he had 13 walks. Gabe Kapler is free swinger. During the stretch when he had to play everyday for Braun, he had 2 walks in 39PA.

I just need to say this... CAM BOOGIE!!! No brainer in my mind. Great Defense. Great Offense. Can't find a better option on the FA market thats for sure.
  24. ELCABALLO45
I might be slow, but what did this have to do with the announcing of Macha as manager? Because Macha mentioned a story with Jay Payton. Saying that Payton asked Macha why he is not playing, so Macha told him because you have a low OBP and your not producing.
  25. ELCABALLO45
Macha just said OBP, I like him already.
