  1. Ellis can really, really shoot a lot. Just like Brandon Jennings. If you like to watch tons and tons of missed 18 foot jumpers, be excited for the rest of the season. And next season. And... who knows after that. Edit: Ellis has a 51.6% True Shooting%, Jennings a 50.7%. League average is about 53%.
  2. Funny, Simmons just tweeted the exact opposite. Here comes another run for the 8 seed! MILWAUKEE BUCKS! GREEN AND GROWING!
  3. This saves them an absolute ton of money next year. I guess that's a plus? Ellis is a decent player, who doesn't play defense, can't shoot 3's, and won't play much at all in Skiles' system. He'll get buried just like Jackson.
  4. Nostalgia moment: I can't believe it has been 12 years. Time flies... I still haven't forgiven Dick Bennett for quitting midway through the next season. Also- I really think the Badgers have a shot at the final 4. The more I look at the draw, the better I like their matchups. It will all come down to if someone (Rob Wilson) can be that extra shooter they've needed all season.
  5. I just got my upgrade vouchers, and I'm wondering if I can only apply them to my season tickets? Or if I can use them for additional tickets I may purchase?
  6. Day one of March Madness + NBA trading deadline. Might suffer from basketball overload.
  7. I found this article pretty fascinating about the history of upsets
  8. 3. Candlesticks always make a nice gift.
  9. TJ Ford had another neck/back injury and has decided to retire. Such a shame. I always thought he could've been really, really good had he not been hurt.
  10. Chris Carpenter has a bulging disc in his neck. His status for opening day is currently "Reply Hazy, try again"
  11. Lucroy really does, he showed it early in the season last year. Honestly, it really seemed like he wore down as the season went on. Considering he started the year on the DL, and still finished 5th in MLB in games caught, it's something to look at. There is no reason that Kottaras can't play against a tough RHP on occasion to give Luc another couple days off a month.
  12. Hey, if it includes the Bonnie Brewer swimsuit layout, I'm sure that would up sales!
  13. The worst part is: No Gus Johnson. Also, the Badgers get Spero Dedes and Bob Wenzel doing their game. Hopefully iheartradio is streaming and I can listen to Lepay.
  14. That is for Saturday, not opening day. Just FYI. About 5 years ago, the Brewers stopped selling group tickets for Opening day, and all the Bars have their parties on the 2nd game/first Saturday of the year now.
  15. The Angels just signed a TV deal that gives them more revenue per season than the Brewers entire record payroll this year. I'm not sure how you can say that it's insanely overstated. Yes, these teams may choose not to exceed the spending soft cap put in place by the latest collective bargaining agreement, but if they want to, they can still completely blow the Brewers out of the water.
  16. Two horrible non-calls at the end of the half: 1) Green was completely out of bounds when he saved that ball, and 2) He fouled Evans on that jumper.
  17. My 20 pack came via USPS. Playoff tickets came via fedex. Although I did the choose my own pack, so I don't have the fancy ticket book.
  18. Of course they beat the Knicks tonight. Of course. Let there be.... hope? Sigh. Ersan is a beast. I really hope they move him.
  19. 436? Probably the foul pole as your obstruction.
  20. Yeah, think this game signifies that we'll see you next year, Ben Brust.
  21. Their demand for tickets has gone up, they've also held out a ton on releasing tickets to fans -- every 20 game pack still has ~200 unreleased seats which they hope to sell by opening day. As I found out a couple years back, the fan's choice doesn't lock you in for seats, so every person who gets a fixed pack (10 or 20 or 81 games) gets better seats than you do.
  22. I think he will, with Green going to AAA. Those really are the only two guys battling for a bench spot (unless Hart can't make opening day).
  23. In Rob We Trust.

  25. I agree. The pace they are playing at really seems to be messing with Indiana. It's almost like they expect the Badgers to not try to shoot at all in the first 20 seconds of the shot clock.
