  1. They did this in Seattle when I was there in '16. It was wonderful.
  2. The guy Hiura hopes to be is Nelson Cruz.
  3. Urias played 200 innings at SS last year. I'm sure he'd be considered.
  4. One of my angriest moments as a Brewers fan involved Brian Shouse. https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/8077/prospectus-today-justice-in-milwaukee/ Also, Shouse got credited for the loss in a 2006 game I attended in St Louis. He faced 1 hitter, intentionally walked him, then Coco Cordero blew the save. https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/MIL/2006-schedule-scores.shtml
  5. Going to have to find a new place to live, as my new downstairs neighbors believe that there is no problem with playing bass so loud it shakes my floor for 10+ hours a day. I work from home, I've asked them to keep it down, I've told the landlord about it and nothing has changed. So, I'm gonna move.
  6. Just to reiterate this point, Keston had the 4th worst Zone Contact % of any hitter with over 150PA's according to Fangraphs.
  7. If they cannot come back and win this one, the Brewers will be at exactly .500 since they debuted their City Connect uniforms. Coincidence or Counsell? You decide.
  8. Watching wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to go through a VPN and have the same 2 commercials every time. Did you guys know Kate was right about her Parlay?
  9. You'd have the entire bullpen up every game, and 2 guys ready to go each night from overwork if things worked that way.
  10. Sweep a double header. Gotta start somewhere.
  11. The game is boring because contact is down and time between pitches is ridiculous when nothing happens. It's not boring when Suter pitches.
  12. Gonna be a good day. I think 17-1, Brewers. Time to wake up the bats.
  13. I do not agree with you. This season is way more fun than watching Glendon Rusch throw 200 innings.
  14. Can't take advantage of the Cubs playing little League defense....
  15. Because he can't hit pitches in the zone. If you can't make contact with pitches in the zone, you are going to strike out, a lot. No matter what. His K% hasn't regressed at all. Since June 1, he had 68 PA and K'd 32 times. That's 47%.
  16. In his 6 starts since coming off the DL, Woodruff has thrown 35 IP, with 48K, a 2.05 ERA, 1.41 FIP, .530 OPS against (with a .313 BABIP). Woody has been Woody since his DL stint.
  17. Hiura has the second worst Z-Contact% in baseball amongst those with 50PA. SECOND WORST. The idea that anything he has done so far is sustainable is simply not the case. https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=50&type=5&season=2022&month=0&season1=2022&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&startdate=2022-01-01&enddate=2022-12-31&sort=7,a
