  1. Can't believe they bunted up in the count
  2. Please do explain.
  3. Yep, they know the opener will be a sell out, so they want it on a Mon/Tues, the lowest attendance days
  4. The Cardinals Way is their organizational philosophy of "We're the best, because we say we're the best" which also floods into their fandom, and the media with just how classy their organization is. It's also a crappy book written akin to Moneyball, but geared specifically to pilfer the wallets of Cardinals fans who are also Rubes. The Cardinals Way has been around since LaRussa was passing out drunk while driving, encouraging steroid use and ordering pitchers to bean opposing hitters if they dared throw inside to Pujols. It's been around since they hacked the Houston Astros player database. We mock it here for the pompous arrogance that their fans and organization continue to show and continue to be propped up to by the media.
  5. This team was so thin on infield depth, they were trying to change a good defensive outfielder and mediocre hitter into a 2B/3B. Should we be shocked they are struggling with infield depth? There are approximately 19 pitchers on the DL, should we be shocked the staff is struggling? Hall, Koenig and Williams are close to coming back. Hopefully the bats wake up a bit. This might be my favorite Bunch of guys since 2008.
  6. Most come from behind wins in MLB. So different from 2012-2015 when they had the most come from ahead losses
  7. Don't we have anyone to hit for Monty here?
  8. I too went Graffanino, and matched up with Brian Shouse (.02) and Willie Randolph. (0.3)
  9. April Christian Yelich needs to show up in October
  10. I'll say, upper deck first base side gives you a view of the Rockies in a clear day which is pretty darn cool.
  11. How many managers do you know who embarrassed the highest payroll team in the league so badly that they pushed through a rule change so that it couldn't happen again?
  12. There has to be a 33 year old converted shortstop with a wicked knuckle ball we can give a shot, right?
  13. The Brewers put Rodriguez's number as 0 on the scoreboard, when he's wearing double zero. Sigh.
  14. A couple of rangs is my favorite player. I dunno why. The fact that he's become an actual hitter, considering the wet noodle he swunglast year?
  15. The only thing that's changed my opinion of the Brewers since April is going from MVP Yelich to Marlins Yelich
  16. Ortiz just keeps raking. AAll this with two really bad hitters getting a lot of PA
