  1. I don't know. I think that if you have two people who are aligned in what they want (long term success) that the vast majority of the time they will be thinking the same in regards to transactions.
  2. Not overly horrible for a guy who plays decent defense at 3B and solid defense at 1B... he's fine for a backup corner IF.
  3. I think that quote is taken out of context. The idea being that if the two of them aren't in agreement, it probably isn't something the team should do.
  4. http://benschmidt.org/mvp/#-WPitching Read the entire page, then play around, that thing is so, so cool.
  5. Last season the 1st hitter had 743 PA for the Brewers. The 8th hitter had 614. Do you really want to pinch hit Segura for every single other hitter in the lineup 18 times each?
  6. I had to take it twice. I was told I didn't look at an uncontrolled intersection because I didn't violently turn my head from side to side, which was an automatic failure. I didn't make that mistake twice.
  7. They've had the easiest schedule in the league through 20 games, and they were 11-9. The East might have a playoff team with 35 wins this year, so they have a shot... but if they don't make the playoffs, they might have the 7th worst record. Hilarious.
  8. It was an unproven procedure even 6 months ago in May. It was very much an experimental thing, which could've caused further damage to his thumb. I thought the reason he chose this procedure was because even if it didn't work, it couldn't make it worse. They weren't sure of that 6 months ago.

  10. Maybe I completely missed it.... but where are these bands going to set up within the stadium?
  11. I feel like the fraternity parties would be really quiet. And organized! Dewey really have to get into details here?
  12. Wow. That page grinds my entire system to a halt.
  13. It's dealers who design those, to make more money off their wonderful loyal customers.
  14. Seriously, you're just making stuff up. If no arena gets built, the NBA has the option to buy back the team for 25 million more than the sale price. There is no way the other 29 owners are going to turn down their share of a 500 million dollar profit (if they turned and sold the team to a different ownership group in Seattle for 1B) in order to let these current owners keep the team AND move it.
  15. Well, my friends and I are 2-2-1 in our seats and in no way shape or form were we able to get seats anywhere near each other for 2011. I was by my lonesome at the end of a row. It sucked.
  16. Davis had a 107 OPS+ last year, which includes April (where our hitting coach told him to swing at the first pitch and not walk at all) and September, when he could barely hold a bat due to a forearm injury. He's not going to be optioned anywhere.
  17. 920/1070 Out of Milwaukee/Madison respectively. I can't stand the 1250/The Fan guys and Heller & Ted Davis in the afternoon are simply superb.
  18. I used to have all the play by play archives bookmarked, but apparently MLB took them down. Sad. I can't watch that 7/18/2005 shot by Rickie anymore. MLB: The only major sport that DOESN'T WANT people to watch their highlights.
  19. When I got my new car, I took some cones out to an empty parking lot and practiced on my own, just to get an awareness of how far I could see (for both bumpers) and what size space I could fit into. It takes practice, like any other skill.
  20. There is a reason I only have one seat and my mom just happens to have the seat next to me. Did you have problems with sitting together during the playoffs with that setup?
  21. Davis was perfectly fine after mid-may, once he stopped listening to Narron and stopped swinging at everything. He was also injured all of September and played through it. After Mid-May he hit .256/.321/.491 for an .812 OPS.
  22. The inability for people (in my experience, women) to interact with another human being for more than 5 minutes without checking their cel phones. I'm 35, and I'm single, and this is one of my biggest pet peeves about other humans. If I sat there on a first date and watched the Brewers game, well, that wouldn't go over well.... but somehow it's becoming socially acceptable for people to interact with their phones instead of the people around them.
  23. 2 on, 2 out in the 6th. Yost has 3 great relievers to get ten outs. Leaves his starter in to face Pujols. Tie game.
