  1. I would have been happy to go for that one. Punting only netted them 20-some yards.
  2. Kept him out of the endzone and recovered a fumble!
  3. So much for the expert predictions of lots of passing haha.
  4. I'll take Wisconsin 32 - Michigan 20
  5. At this rate we might have a day or two to rest guys for the wild card game.
  6. This game alone has turned me in favor of batter minimums for relief pitchers.
  7. After last night I’m completely fine with being gifted a win.
  8. Pitching has been winning us a lot of games lately.
  9. Unless it’s on a ball to the backstop
  10. I was just really confused about why this game hadn’t started yet.
  11. Yes, unfortunately. Although I do think his injury has motivated the team a bit the past week.
  12. Didn’t Grisham just win us half the games on the road trip?
  13. It's just such a thin margin at 2.5 games back with the Cardinals playing well. The Brewers can't afford to lose tonight. Wild card chances are looking fantastic though!
  14. It feels like the Cards are too good to let the division slip away. Not sure the Cubs can beat them enough times to help the Brewers.
  15. Down go the Cubs. Great night for our playoff chances!
  16. Love that post 'stache. I thought it would be a long time until there was another Brewers team that I liked as much as the 2018 team. Now here we are a year later and they're doing it again. I don't know what magic Craig Counsell has figured out but the guy has managed this team like a hall of famer. There were about a half-dozen times when this team was about to take a knockout punch but somehow they always managed to salvage a game (usually the day game with the getaway lineup) or string together a couple wins to step back from the edge of the cliff. After that first loss to the Cubs I thought for sure they were finished--the THIRD time this year that I had conclusively accepted that the season was probably over. How foolish. Who knows what will happen but it will be a fun ride the next few weeks.
  17. I've never been convinced that the 2018 roster was much better than 2019 on paper. Seemed like this year's team just had terrible luck until recently. The recent run seems to validate that feeling. It just took a bit longer for Stearns/Counsell to assemble the correct band of misfits to fill the rotation and bullpen.
  18. I think we might be good.
  19. Another big one tomorrow. I'm ready to start that game now!
