This just further confirms that the Brewers have gotten under Maddon's skin. -
That's on the Cardinals. No one made them run out that AAA lineup yesterday. I sure am glad they did, though. The funny part is they didn't even properly celebrate clinching a playoff appearance the night before.

Yeah that's not going to happen IMO. A .940 OPS bat is still a .940 OPS bat. Especially against the gauntlet of lefties the Dodgers have if we face them. Fair enough, but he's going to need to get pulled for defense in the late innings.

This team sure looked dead in early-to-mid August. And usually in pro sports that means that guys start thinking about the offseason, stop listening to the manager, and the losses mount. They had just made some uninspiring deadline trades and gotten swept by the Cubs. Nobody thought that they could repeat the magic of September 2018.
