  1. I am now starting to have serious issues with Ned Yost and Doug Melvin. Either put Bill Hall back at third base or call up Ryan Braun. Enough is enough. We already went through this nonsense with Chad Moeller. Automatic outs absolutely kill the lineup. Graffanino and Counsell are not starters and they have no business being out there. Counsell was terrible the last time he was a Brewer, and that was three years ago when he was at least younger. Bill Hall is a grown man. He can handle moving back to the outfield if Ryan Braun gets called up. Doug and Ned have to trust him more. Let Corey Hart play everyday too. He needs to play and get back to being the guy we saw in the second half last year. It's now time for some real changes.
  2. St. Louis columnist Jeff Gordon predicts the Brewers will NOT collapse this season. www.stltoday.com/stltoday...enDocument
  3. Maybe this whole situation will wake up the Brewers a little.
  4. Another nice article by USA Today . . . www.usatoday.com/sports/b...over_N.htm

  6. It was fun to watch the Prince and Rickie Show. Great way to start this road trip. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b273/AJAY_02/311206478_32cd2ba274_o.gif
  7. I was at the game too, and I can't tell you what a huge relief it was to see the offense come to life and prevent this team from suffering another miserable loss. I know I would have been really down had we lost again. When we got down 4-0 early, it seemed like the season was crashing and burning and you could just sense the doom and gloom. I had already envisioned the media ripping this team and the fan base getting angry and feeling cheated. But with one swing of Jenkins' bat, all the excitement of the hot start came back and you once again felt invincible. You just knew we were going to find a way to win the game. It's just so funny how one moment changes the entire feeling and restores faith and confidence. Thank you so much Geoff Jenkins. We all needed this. Congratulations on a super day and career homerun #200.
  8. Are we still on for meeting this Tuesday at Long Wong's? Also, should we post this on the Major League forum and invite other BrewerFan members? Or is this just for the softball team?
  9. I rarely leave a baseball game early, but tonight I had no choice. It was just an absolute stinker. I just wanted to go home. I think I need a drink.
  10. I am defintiely interested.
  11. I just can't get this out of my mind . . . I am still absolutely furious at Ned Yost for leaving Derrick Turnbow in the game way too long on Monday. I had no problem with the last two losses, but I just find what happened on Monday to be totally inexcusable. In fact, these last two losses have made me even more angry about Monday because this mini-slide could have totally been prevented. It's been three days, and I still can't get over that game. It should have never gotten that far. It should have never gotten that far.
  12. Oh my, we are sort of back in this ballgame . . sort of.
  13. I know I am stating the obvious . . . Let's win today.
  14. It was a good game. No complaints from me.

  16. I love your choice of words. I think pefectly you captured the essence of our frustration.
  17. Okay, I feel a little better because the Cubs just lost. Well, not really. Ned ought to be reprimanded by the front office.
  18. I don't care what our record is. Ned should be fired RIGHT NOW. How many walks and hits does it take before Ned Yost finally figures out that Turnbow doesn't have it tonight. Is Ned Yost even watching the game? Is he even awake or did he doze off? It was obvious Turnbow was fooling NOBODY. But our manager just sat there and did nothing. It's absolutely ridiculous.
  19. Do you bring in Cordero right now? Turnbow looks wild out there.
  20. These are the type of games that Ben Sheets is being paid to win. How about a nice statement game from Sheets. Let's get a "W" and show everyone that Sheets is worth the money. GO BREWERS.
  21. I can't complain. I know it's only one game, but a one-run loss on the road tells me that the Brewers can hang with anyone. We looked competitive at least.
