I guess when you play 162 of these, you are going to have a few stinkers every now and then. It's just one of those nights. Anyway, Chris Spurling needs to be demoted and they should bring Jose Capellan back. And bring up Braun too.
I don't want to see Mench or Jenkins bat 4th. I like them lower in the order with less pressure on them. I still see them more as complimentary players to our main offense. They both are doing fine and I would hate to mess with it.
WOW !!! What a thrilling victory. It feels so great to beat their ace in their home park, especially considering we had nothing going offensively for most of the game. This is just awesome. BREWERS WIN !!! http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b273/AJAY_02/BrewersFlag3.gif
Can someone give the directions again? I have a general recollection of the place, but I can't remember the specific highway exits and local street names to get there. If one was coming from downtown MIlwaukee, how do you get there?
Standing ovation for Jeff Suppan. He saved the bullpen tonight and pitched out of trouble to get the victory. We badly needed a solid start and Suppan more than got the job done. Excellent. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b273/AJAY_02/WrigleyFieldSign.jpg
Suppan missed his target. That ball was supposed to be up more but he threw it right down the middle. Soriano creamed it. Anyway, inning over http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
Oh my . . Does anyone feel like the Brewers need to work more at communication between outfielders or infielders? So many popups and flyballs are being fought over this season. Someone needs to call it and someone else needs to get the heck out of the way.
Considering how tough this wind looks, the Brewers might need to try and bunt their way on base a little more often. Let's see what happens when Rich Hill has to pitch with runners on base. We need to break his rhythym.
From JS Online . . . . "I said, 'Look, this is your game to win or lose, so you might as well stand out here, get on the attack, get after these guys and win a ball game,'"Yost said."'If you can hold them, we'll score you a run.'
