It will be nice to see how he handles 1st base. -
Lucroy is a big league catcher. If he didn't want to catch today, he would tell RR and he would be on the bench right now. Yadier has caught all three games this series, why can't Lucroy? He's still getting 1 of every 5 games off.

I think McGehee still hitting 5th has to do with RR continuing to show confidence in McGehee because of his track record the past 2 years. I'm not saying I agree with it, just that RR seems to be the type of manager who wants to show that he has faith in his players.

Narveson is doing a nice job so far. I hope that he can keep it up, and if not I hope that RR has the presence of mind to go to the bullpen before he explodes.

Normally I would be against trading for a reliever for half of a season, but if the Brewers are truly serious about making a playoff run I feel like they should make a play to strengthen the bullpen. The bullpen is a strength right now, but I worry about Axford and his inflated WHIP, Loe and his hanging sinker, and Saito and his penchant for going on the DL and not being able to pitch back to back games. Bell would allow the 8th inning to go to Hawkins or Axford. San Diego will probably looking for a big return considering Bell will bring them a couple of comp picks, maybe even more than the Brewers can afford to give up. Just a thought.
