I don't think all of this defensive hype has much impact on how GMs value Prince Fielder, but if it even has a little impact on his apparent trade value, then it's a good thing if the Brewers are out of contention at the trade deadline. Really any positive publicity for Prince is a good thing for the Brewers since we're not going to resign him. -

Almonte reminds me a lot of Brad Nelson. Big guys who don't have a defensive position and can't hit major league pitching.

I think they are saying this because the Brewers don't have a lot of errors so far this year. Besides Gomez, all of the Brewers fielders are below average.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to dump Santana, because like you said Wood has more upside. I always cheer for the Brewers over anyone on my fantasy team. If you're in a categories league, why not get rid of one of the pitchers who isn't getting saves right now? I'd dump Storen or Aardsma.
