  1. Even the unlikely Kotsay is coming through with the glove today.
  2. That is a crazy risk by Gomez going for 2nd, but it worked and Gomez is now throwing together a nice game.
  3. Holy crap, we're winning! How did Prince score on that play? I thought he would have been out by 40 ft.
  4. There's an instance where Gomez' speed was beneficial and it won't be noticed in the stats.
  5. Has Gallardo been wearing his socks up like that lately, or is it something new?
  6. So in 2008, when we made the playoff run, we had a 6 game losing streak between May 2nd - May 8th. That same year we had an 8 game road losing streak as well. Very similar to what we're facing right now and we still ended up winning 90 games. We didn't get above .500 until June 1st in 2008.
  7. Is this one of those Saturday afternoon, blacked out on MLB.tv games?
  8. I agree. If we're going to lose, we might as well get no hit. What does it matter how we lose. Maybe it's added motivation.
  9. Has BA mentioned this yet? Just curious, I'm watching the Cardinals feed.
  10. I know it's not McGehee's fault, but he's never at 3rd base when he's supposed to be.
  11. I wonder if Jaime Garcia will throw another complete game shutout tonight?
  12. I really thought Gomez was going to get the out at home there.
  13. How is this team's record so bad? We've got arguably the best lineup and rotation in years. I guess I'll take a deep breath and repeat to myself, "It's only May. It's only May."
  14. The only ball that was really hard was a flyout to the warning track. The two runs that were scored were on a slow groundball up the shortstop hole and a bloop single to right center. His control looks a little bit off, but coming back from injury you have to give him a little bit of a break. If our defense was better, his pitch count would be much lower right now.
  15. There's a rain delay in Boston right now and the Brewers are on ESPN for anyone not watching the game.
  16. E-3, defensive interference and a dribbler past shortstop and suddenly were down 1.
  17. I wonder if he truly has a disorder, such as narcolepsy or sleep apnea, or if it's more of an acute insomnia. Sleep is very important and hopefully the staff can help him if he's having trouble sleeping when he's supposed to.
  18. Every in-game thread from 2002? But seriously, this thread is the worst.
  19. It seems like every time he hits a groundball the play at first should be close, but then I remember that McGehee is running and watch him get thrown out by 6 steps.
  20. But he left a tad erly so it was the right callNot if he got called out for not touching the base it's not. Not that I'm complaining.
  21. He clearly stepped on the base to tag up from the Astros TV feed. That's a nice break for the Brewers.
