  1. Great victory. I don't get to watch to many post game interviews on MLB.TV, but it seemed like Trenni was really prodding Prince by asking if he was personally insulted that Braun got intentionally walked in front of him. She asked it twice, but the fact of the matter is that with one out and a runner on second, the Pirates would have just as easily walked Prince to get to Braun if the order was reversed. I don't think it had anything to do with Prince personally and everything to do with setting up the double play.
  2. When Prince gets out of this slump, he is going to go on a tear.
  3. I'm sorry Darron and Gracie, but even if there was legal in-game replay, Cameron's hit would still have been ruled a homerun since the video is still very inconclusive. Also, saying that the Diamondback's bullpen thought the ball was foul is not a fair argument to call the ball foul.
  4. Upon further googling, it looks like Santana had to be traded prior to contract negotiations. Once he was traded, he had a 72 hour window to reach a contract extension with his new team. If a new contract was not reached his no-trade clause was in effect and the trade would not have went through. You would have to think that the Twins and Mets had talks with Santana and his agent before the trade went through, otherwise what would be the point of forcing a trade that Santana would ultimately reject?
  5. I'm pretty sure this is how Santana agreed to a deal with the Mets while he was still technically a Twin.
  6. They can't go 0-27 anymore, so that's a start.
  7. Here is a link. That game is a lot of fun, but difficult for me without a mouse. I'll keep practicing and get back to you.
  8. I'm offended. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  9. The more beer choices the better, right?
  10. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/f94154988e69c231bd44cb0bdbc976ebba97a74.pjpg This kid is already learning how to catch against robot batters of the future. We need to be scouting him.
  11. I've been spitting seeds for a long time now (right now in fact). I used to be completely married to David, but I've since moved on. I've spent some time with Dakota Kid, Jack Daniels and even the Frito Lay brand. Right now, if I want something salty I grab the Giants regular. If I need something cheap with flavor I go for the Spitz Dill Pickle or Chilli Lime. My prefered brand right now is Zotes (http://www.zotes.com/). I love their Spicy Nacho, Garlic Roast, Hot Wings and occasionally Jalapeno. If you haven't tried them yet, find 'em and try 'em. I hardly ever buy David's anymore, but I would still say that they are the industry standard.
  12. Flirty married women.
  13. Islands: Arm's Way keeps finding it's way into my CD player. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/74625f89e183a65dc6e373d0fc9ec1497ed024a.pjpg
  14. I have to drive 900 miles to get to work. I work 84 hour work weeks for weeks on end. I am 120 miles from the nearest town. I haven't seen a woman in 4 days. I don't have a flushing toilet. I can't take showers. It's 2 am and I am up working. I haven't seen my family in 3 weeks. I smell like diesel. I haven't watched a Brewers game in 3 weeks. EDIT: Also, I've witnessed people getting severly injured several times. I should mention I really like my job.
  15. This is very sad. Flipping through the channels on my XM radio, I always stop if I hear George Carlin doing a routine. He made comedy into an art form. His routine and delivery were all so well prepared and rehearsed. He will be missed.
  16. Well, a excellent outing by Bush today. I suppose it had to be Overbay.
  17. Clearly you're not a fan of the WNBA.
  18. The retractable glass roof had me thinking back to my younger days of frying ants under a magnifying glass. Mesh makes more sense. That stadium looks really futuristic. I wonder if they're keeping the devil rays in the outfield?
  19. I put in my votes for Braun. He didn't make the All-Star team last year because of his late call-up, but I bet if you compared offensive stats to the rest of the NL since his call-up last year he would rank very well.
  20. Thanks, it works. I start to get the shakes when I can't get in to BF.net.
  21. Same problem for me. I usually get to the forums by going to brewerfan.net and then clicking on the "Fan Forum" link at the top of the page, but that goes to http://forum.brewerfan.net for me.
  22. Is anyone else having issues with MLB.TV?
  23. Hitters: AL - Carlos Quentin, started pelting the ball early in the season and really hasn't slowed down too much. He's a big reason for the White Sox success. NL - Dan Uggla, I think I heard that he is on pace to have the most extra base hits for a second baseman since the 50's. Pitchers: NL: Brad Lidge, I really didn't think moving to Philly would help him at all. AL: The Oakland A's entire pitiching staff. They have the lowest team ERA in the Majors right now with 3.35.
  24. Wow. I don't own a pair, but I think people should wear whatever they feel comfortable in, whether that be crocs or a paper bag with a string for a belt. Seriously, don't be so judgmental people.
