Maybe the offense can step up and actually win a game for once. Or is that asking too much? -
Just keep winning series and you're in the playoffs. This offense needs to be more consistent though. The inability to string together multiple base hits in any given inning is so puzzling. I've given up trying to figure it out.

Here's to Chacin going 8 strong innings tonight and giving the bullpen a bit of a break after last night!

Well hopefully he goes out and pitches 8 shutout innings today against the Cubs and helps us that way.

Pittsburgh now two games below .500 so looks like they are fading out of the race fast. They can’t hit to save their lives right now. Everybody else that we need to lose is winning tonight. -
We better score about 13 runs tonight.

We desperately need Yelich to get hot again because this offense can’t seem to do crap if he’s struggling.

Bailey had a game like that against us last year I believe in the last week of the season. Just completely shut us down.

This Reds team can swing the bats with the best of them even without Votto and Brewers pitching has been awful in August. The bats better wake up or this could be an ugly few days.

Just gotta get past this series and then we have some pretty winnable series coming up. The schedule starts to turn in our favor.

Other than an Aguilar solo homerun, this guy pretty much dominated us the last time out. Hopefully good Peralta shows up tonight. Huge series.

The weather down in Chicago doesn't look too promising, particularly right around game time. Should be an interesting game.

The pitching has absolutely stunk tonight but the offense needs to do a better job of adding on runs after scoring 4 in the 1st. Different year, same old story.

This offense better wake the heck up and score some insurance runs. 5 runs isn't going to hold up at this rate.

Facing a horrible team and a horrible pitcher. These are the types of games we lose 6-1. Hopefully the offense gets going early and we can put these guys away in the first few innings.

We are just completely lifeless on so many of these day games. I don't understand it.

Brewers have 48 games left. If they go .500 the rest of the way, that will put them at 89 wins. You would think that would be good enough for at least one of the two wild card spots.
